Once a teacher rate came up for our trip ($175 per night) we had planned on staying there. There are 8 of us--2 rooms, but we need to pay an extra $25 for a roll away. By chance I called to check on rates for CR standard room with AAA rate - $289 per night. No comparison right. Then the lovely CM says hold on, you have two special needs brothers travelling with you, give me a second. She came back on to inform me that she was able to get my DM and DBs two rooms connected for the same price. This would give us much more room. Would you pay less and stay at the D/S or go for more space--3 bathrooms,3 tvs and more beds?

I'd go with the Contemporary. Maybe you'd even get upgraded rooms! (I don't know how many rooms have been changed yet).

There have been a few threads about paying a resort fee and parking fees at S/D. I think it depends on where you spend the most time. If you plan to be at MK most, then go for Contemporary. If at EPCOT, go for S/D. Just watch out for the mini-bar! I just read about people having trouble with being charged for stuff when they only opened the door!

For medical reasons I have been told that the S/D would waive the parking fee and we would need to talk to S/D about the fridge cost since my brother needs fluids and meds during the day and night.
