CR or BC in Dec. - need help!

We're starting to plan a Dec. (2nd week) 2003 trip. I know it's early, but I think I love the planning almost as much as the trip!
The two resorts that we are trying to decide between are the Contemporoary and the Beach Club. There will be 2 (possibly 3) adults, and twin boys (who will be about to turn 5). I would love to hear any and all opinions, suggestions, advice, etc. about which one everyone would pick - and why. Thanks so very much!

First of all, the 2nd week of Dec is an excellent time to go. I was there this past Dec and the weather was perfect, crowds were light and Christmas decorations were gorgeous. I visited both resorts and would pick BC over CR. BC's Stormalong Bay looks so cool and there's lots to do on the BW, plus I preferred the looks of the BC. CR is on the monorail line which your kids would love and of course, so close to the MK. Have fun planning!!

With kids, no park is better than the Magic Kingdom. That said, I have visited both the Contemporary and the Beach Club numerous times, and have stayed at the Contemporary as well. I really do like the resort! Especially if you can get a room in the tower on the Magic Kingdom side (we were on the 12th floor "club level" on the MK side---great fireworks view!!!). first off let me say that Dec is a great time to go to WDW!!! it is just over flowing with magic!!!!!!

I would pick the BC over the CR, the theming of the CR just doesnt appeal to me too much, especially for christmas! the theming and decorating at the BC during christmas is wonderful! I love the gingerbread carousel and the poinsetta tree in the BC lobby! it's beautiful, plus the YC and BW are also all decorated beautifully!!

the epcot resort area is my favorite. it is so convenient and there is so much to do there! you can walk to epcot and mgm, and the bus to MK is only 10 - 15 minutes total. you have the entertainment at the BW right there, and mini golf at the Swan/Dolphin. crescent lake is beautiful too!

also, if you choose the BC you will be able to enjoy the best - SAB!!! that pool is amazing! simply the best!
