Although we are currently booked at YC Concierge for August, we thought we might be adventurous and try out a new resort. We are a party of 5 and liked that the CR offers larger rooms. Has anyone stayed in a garden Jr suite? How is the room layout, especially bathrooms. Are the sinks outside the bath area? I couldn't find a room floor plan on Disney's website.
Also, has anyone stayed in a 12th floor tower club room? I know they don't offer the same amenities as the 14th floor (out of our price range!) but do they offer bottled water and drinks during their operating hours? For roughly the same price, should we stay at the Poly concierge? Thank you for any help!

Well, I can tell you based on everything I've read, that the Polynesian concierge is much better than the CR Tower Club. I've also heard by some that YC Concierge is better than all of the others that you mentioned. So keep that in mind before you decide to change!

Just my two cents

I've stayed in the CR Tower Club. We had a room with a MK view (excellent!). I really enjoyed my stay there. In the morning they had a continental breakfast (cut up fruit, breakfast breads, Krisy Kreme Doughnuts, milk, juices, and coffee + tea). In the afternoon they'd have cookies, coffee cake, rice krispys, lemonaide, and coffee (maybe tea, too).

The Junior suites are large rooms, but only have 1 king and a child size daybed. They are nice sized rooms, so that is a big plus.

I have also stayed at the Polynesian Concierge (Lagoon View) and while the Polynesian did offer more, the price was also much higher. I really enjoyed the Contemporary Tower Club, and will definetly be staying there again! :)

We stayed on the 12th floor Tower Club room at the Comtemporary Resort in October 1999, facing MK. It was a nice room, nothing special, with a great view of MK, GF, and the Polynesian Resort. The rooms are larger at this resort, mainly because it is the oldest resort, I believe. I think if you want to be on the monorail and are going to MK a lot it's a nice choice but I felt it was not as nice at the Polynesian. I haven't stayed at the YC yet, but everyone seems to agree their concierge service is hard to beat. We will be staying there in August, but not concierge level. I think it really depends on your needs and the age of your children. We spent the extra money and stayed at the monorail resorts when the boys were younger. Now they are teens and other locations interest all of us. In the Tower Club room at CR they had cookies, cheese and crackers, bottled water on a table as you get off the elevator, in the afternoon. I don't remember many other perks, except you have a special room key to get to the 12th floor. Our room had two queen beds. They did fill the refrig. with bottled water each time our room was cleaned. Hope this helps.

I haven't stayed at the Poly yet but have stayed at the CR Tower Club. I really enjoyed my stay. The resort was fun and the CMs were wonderful. For photos of my room and the 12th floor's concierge lounge, here's my link: Janet2k's On-Line Photo Album (just select the albums for "Contemp Resort (Room & View)" and "Contemp Tower Club").
