This will be our first stay in the Contemporary and I would really like it to be special as this trip will be just my mom and 2 dd's (16 and 12) We have a garden wing room and I have requested north garden as I understand it to be closer to the MK walkway. Can you get a MK view from any of the garden wing rooms? Any info on which room to request would be really appreciated. Thank you !

My honest opinion would be go for a tower room! We stayed twice in a wing room and we were very unhappy with it.
We really enjoyed the tower room. you are inside so if it is raining you do not have to go outside at all to go to the resteraunts, arcade,or monorail.

When we stayed in the Garden wing, we had a view of the tennis courts and Space Mtn behind them. We were able to see all the fireworks from our room and they were huge! We had a first floor room with a patio and DS was able to run around outside, go down to the little beach and walk around (no swimming there though). I think we were the 3-4 room in from the end of the building. We were able to walk to the MK everyday, it was easier to walk there than to the Tower to catch the monorail.

We also stayed in the Tower with a MK view which was beautiful! But it is alot more money.

We really enjoyed our stay in the North Garden Wing. We had a great MK view & could see the fireworks perfectly from our window. The wing was very quiet and peaceful.

It's only a couple of minutes walk to the lobby & food court. Just look for the "back door" that is close to the N Garden wing. Also, the bus stop is right outside the North garden wing.

There is also a covered walkway from both wings to the main building, so unless it is a blowing rain that shouldnt be a problem getting to the main building to catch the monorail, go to the arcade or eat. We also stayed in the tower. We booked a wing room originally and upgraded when we got there to the tower. You could always ask if they have any upgrades when you get there. We had to pay a bit more, but still only 1/2 of what they first asked. Enjoy! WE really loved this resort.:D :D :D :D :D

We were in room # 7380 several years ago and we could see the fireworks (through some trees) pretty well from this 3rd floor room overlooking the parking lot on the front side of the north wing. Go here to view the room numbers of the Contemporary:

I would think anything along the left side would provide excellent viewing rooms or even the front as we had. We loved the Contemporary and this location but next time I'm definitely going for the Tower!
