CR and Tower rooms

What do y'all think my chances are of asking for an upgrade to a Tower room (garden view booked) and getting it? I don't care if we have to pay for it. I called today to see if there was any way to upgrade now to a Tower, but there are no rooms available at all. We arrive Thanksgiving day 11/28-12/4.

Think maybe they might have one available after the weekend? Or am I just wishful thinking here? I will, of course, ask for a MK Tower room view when I send in my faxed room request, but we all know that there are no guarantees.

Let me know what y'all think of my chances, please?

Last November, we arrived the day after Thanksgiving. When we went to check in, the CM told us that the wing rooms were completely sold out and that they were moving us to CSR for the night. We politely said, "absolutely not". The desk manager came out to try to convince us to go to CSR for a free night and they'd move us back the next day. We still said no. We weren't interested in the free night and that we'd only consider one of the other monorail resorts. (That was the main reason for us choosing CR.) He went into the back room and came back within 5 minutes. They upgraded us to a tower room for our entire stay at the price of the wing room.

So, if they tell you the wings are sold out, be very polite and it just might turn out in your favor!

I'll keep your post in mind when we check in. But was really hoping to avoid all the "chances" or "luck" of getting moved to the Tower by changing the ressies now. I don't mind having to pay for it.
