We want to stay at CR on our next trip to WDW and we do spend lots of time at our resorts. So, my questions for all of you CR lovers out there are: how do I get a great view of the MK from the tower? Are all the views from the tower equal?

:wizard: Well most people say ask for a high floor. BUT remember the mk view side starts on 6th floor already, and I've been on 6 twice and its perfect from there too. ;) So that really does not matter (IMHO). I like to request to "be over the shops not the resturants" they think your requesting this for quiet, But its because your closer to the MK on this side. ::MickeyMo ;) Otherwise your near the convention center side and a little farther. Now if you wind up over chef mickey's > the view, you will still get a WONDERFUL view of the MK, and perfect fireworks view and castle view too, just slightly farther (the length of the cr building). There really are no bad views from the cr tower either side. :cheer2: We usually wind up somewhere in the middle. :confused3 Right over the parc concerge' . We always enjoy watching the valets run out during the fireworks resetting all the car alarms, going off. :earseek:

FYI: **Interesting fact alert** remember the tower is an A frame and the higher you go up, a little further back the rooms are, so actually 6th floor is closer forward (toward mk) than the higher floors. Most people will still request to have a high floor through. I guess people don't realize how high up you are from there. Just picture in your mind the monorail pulling out of CR, thats pretty high and that's the 5th floor.

Have a great time, Mky princess:

If you go in 2006, you can pay about $40 extra per night to guarantee a MK view at the CR. No more hoping you get PD for that MK view! If you are going in 2005, you need to request it with your reservation and then hope for PD!
