No discounts - we paid rack rate and you can (gulp!) look on the web to see what we paid. It was a special trip so I sucked it up!
My room was very similar to the one pictured by Suite Disney with some different art work. We were the last SUite at the end of the hall by the MK. Firework view was really special.
The lounge was never crowded - we were usually the only ones there. Concierge told us it was a slow period.
Exact times (I think)- 7-10am was breakfast. 10:30 - 2:00 was snacks. They had cookies, chips, pretzels, rice krispie treats and usually some pb&J sandwiches. Tea was from 3-4:30. We never went to that. 5-7 was dinner snacks. Crackers, cheese, wine, hot appetizers - they had wings and ribs the day we went. Veggies and dip and I think fruit. Help yourself to 4 different wine selections. 7-10 Cordials - also help yourself. Desserts - one night a fabulous Strawberry shortcake, eclairs, cream puffs, fruit tarts, etc. Another night cheescake with fresh raspberries. There was always whole fruit out. They also stocked our in-room refrigerator with drinks. Sodas and water.
We had 4 people in the suite DH, DS, MIL and me. We were not in any way crowded. There was seating for 4 at an outside table and seating for 6 inside at the dining room table. Had two full baths - that was nice.
Again - I really felt the personal touch of the staff made all the difference. Because of all of the suites - they are not covering too many people. We stayed GF concierge in the lodge and we liked that - but it was no comparison to this.
