CP vs CM?

We are taking a super quick trip in a few weeks. We only have time/desire to do one character breakfast. One park day and one hang out/pool day scheduled. Right now I have:

CP park day - 8:20 pre park opining/pre early entry
CM non-park day - 12:15 for a relaxed brunch between resort shopping and pool

Our park day will be a commando day with hitting 3 parks plus Roundup Rodeo at 2:55.

I'm leaning towards canceling CP, mainly to avoid the hassle of getting in the park with the crowds waiting. Is it really that bad getting in the park before everyone else? It has been years since I had an early entry breakfast ADR. So, I'm leaning towards keeping CM and getting rid of CP.

Rodeo Roundup may eat up a lot of your park time, so, personally, I would drop CP if you are doing a commando park day. I would keep CM for your non-park day (highly recommend Topolino's over CM, but if CM is more convenient for a more relaxed day, I would stick with that)

Thank you! I have a Topolino's alert set, but no luck so far. We are staying at CR so CM is convenient, but we wouldn't mind checking out the Riviera.

I'm on the fence about Rideo Roundup too given all the 2 hour dining reports.

It's good, but it's a lot of food. We enjoyed it, but we went for dinner and not in the middle of a long, hot park day. If your goal is a lot of park time on that one park day, maybe opt for QS instead?
