CP--> Seasonal -- Maingate still available?

So my program will be ending June 4th, however, my family will not be coming down until the last day in which I will get my seasonal ID. I still have my blue main gate, but the question is, can I use that main gate with my seasonal ID or not?

Yes. The seasonal/CP maingates are the same.

Thanks, but the thing is I will not start a shift after I turn seasonal during my family visit and I heard that they send you a new main gate when you have started your first shift. That's why I'm a little confuse because I will be turning from a CP to Seasonal and was wondering if my CP main gate will work with my seasonal main gate. I guess if CP/Seasonal are the same, then it should not be a problem.

I think that the only time that seasonals have to work a shift before getting their main gate is after the start of a new year. not for sure though.

In general, they send you a new maingate when you switch statuses. I'm not really sure how it works when you go CP to Seasonal in the same year though.

Sorry I didn't specify. You only receive one maingate per year, so if you got one on your CP, that's it--and you would use the seasonal ID with it.

What you mentioned only matters when the next calendar year rolls around. They send it after you work a shift, an incentive to work as soon as possible and to avoid sending you something for nothing.

I went from CP to Seasonal around this time frame and did not receive a new maingate until I worked in January.

CP and Seasonal are very similar statuses and use the same maingate passes, which I'm guessing is why it is done that way.
