Can anyone tell me whether or not the 180 day rule applies to the CP package? I am on hold on the phone, but I cannot book online for Christmas Eve because tomorrow is 180 days! I thought it was available to all?

I'm wondering the same thing. The agent told me yesterday when I booked my hotel reservations (for 12/27) that CP ADRs worked differently, but I had the same problem trying to book online (for 12/29). So I'm in the endless hold line too.

Apparently the 180 day rule still applies. If you're checking in earlier, you may have some luck with the 180 + 10 rule they have. I'm checking in the 27th and apparently still have to wait about 4 days.

I have to say the lady that I spoke with this morning was an absolute gem. I just wish the lady I spoke with yesterday had known this rule, before I spent 45 minutes on hold.

Shoot! Guess I have to wait until tomorrow. Thanks for posting, at least I can hang up now! Good luck with your adr, I hope you get what you want!

I booked a CP dinner package online earlier this morning for Christmas Day. I had to enter my resort reservation number to access booking, as the 180 day mark hasn't happened yet. We are checking in 12/19, so all was good once I entered our resort ressie #.

I was just on the phone with Disney Dining...you CANNOT book a CP package until your 180 day window opens. guess I'll be waiting till Friday, then...sucks for those of us arriving for those last few days of the CP...:sad1:

What is the 180 + 10 rule?

Thanks.

What is the 180 + 10 rule?

Thanks.
180 + 10 refers to a perk of staying onsite at a Disney resort.

If you have a confirmed Disney resort reservation (DVC points stays DO qualify for this), you may book up to 10 days worth of dining reservations (inclusive) at 180 days before date of check-in.

If you do not have a confirmed Disney resort reservation, you may only book dining reservations up to 180 days before date of dining.

The 180+10 is shorthand to state that at 180 days out, you may book 10 days. It's not a math problem ;).
