We are going for a short trip to WDW at the end of January. DS will be 5-1/2. On a Friday that's not an EE day at MK, I was thinking of doing a character breakfast and then going to MK. DS has no interest in CRT so I was thinking of CP. Does this give you an big advantage to have an early PS inside the park, or would be just as well at CM?? I though that he might enjoy CM, but he would enjoy CP too, especially if it's a lot better to already be in the park when it officially opens.

TIA for the advice! :wave2:

In August we had an early breakfast at crt on a non EE day, it was just 9am when we finished breakfast, we did the carasel, peter pans flight, the Haunted mansion and had time for character's in fronteer land and made the first show of the Country Bear's at 10am. So yes to me it is an advantage, to be in the park when it opens.

I have never been to WDW in January but it is my understanding that it is VERY LOW CROWDS and lines practically don't exist. So with this in mind choose the buffet you most want to go to and the characters you believe your DS would most want to interact with.

I do however agree with the above poster that in the summer or any high crowds time it is ALWAYS an advantage to be in the park early.

We are doing CP at 8:15 am on a Tuesday (non-EE day). I picked that because we'd be inside the park when it opened, no necessarily because of the crowds, but because i want pics in front of the castle with no one else in them!
