DAVE, DO YOU KNOW WHICH ONE RCCL DOCKS AT? WE ARE GOING IN 4 DAYS WITH THEM SINCE DISNEY DIDN'T FIT INTO SCHEDULE, JUST WONDERING HOW FAR WE ARE FROM DOWNTOWN.

We took a trip to Playa del Carmen in August and stayed at a all inclusive resort. We took a day ferry over to Cozumel and had arranged a 1/2 day trip thru Eagleraydivers.com. My DH went diving and I snorkeled. We went to 4 different reefs for less than $50 a person. Eagle Ray keeps the groups to no more than 6 people and if another boat pulls in to close Eagle moved us to a more private spot. The company is run by a woman and her husband that live in Cozumel year round. She is American and our guide, Raul spoke perfect English. There was also 2 other couples from the RCCL Voyager with us on our excursion.

I agree with buzz&woodysmom. Shellie and her husband run a nice operation. They were so friendly and easy to deal with online.
Our day with them was the highlght of our cruise. My husband got to dive, his first very deep one and was very impressed. I got to snorkel several reefs and then did the Discover Scuba. WOW!!
I had my own instructor with me every step of the way, literally holding my hand. I am planning to become certified this year.
Can't say enough good things about Eagle Ray.
