Wishing you well OP. Stay hydrated n when ur all better, consider looking for a better dr
That does NOT sound like funYes. I’ve had two fully vaccinated coworkers have symptomatic cases. I was told to ask for a “deep swab” when I was sick with COVID symptoms. I had been tested twice and both negative but my doctor told me if my symptoms did not resolve to get tested again with a deep swap.
Thank you. He wasn’t my doctor, he was covering for my doctor- or maybe taking all possible Covid patients at the medical group. surprisingly he is an Infectious Disease doctorWishing you well OP. Stay hydrated n when ur all better, consider looking for a better dr
You know you can buy over the counter covid tests, right? You don’t have to wait for an appointment with your dr.
What are the OP's local reporting and quarantine requirements? Are they doing any contact-tracing? Does her workplace have any Covid-related protocols in place? All these issues do make it matter very much whether or not it's actually Covid. If it were covid would the treatment plan be any different?
Testing is over rated really, from his perspective you are at extremely low risk of needing hospitalized..so why test?
What happens if your positive? - same treatment ..stay home
What happens if your negative? - same treatment stay home
Now throw in false negatives and that's likely the worst result since people might feel more comfortable going out and exposing others.
You test not for you, but so that you don't spread it to others who are perhaps more vulnerable.
I'm going to refrain from saying anything else on the subject.
Sure they do come Into play but were not mentioned, if op needs a test because of a requirement they should go out and get one. What are the OP's local reporting and quarantine requirements? Feel betterI'm sitting next to my husband - we both were vaccinated in the spring, and I had the booster in late October. And we both have Covid, it's been 9 days now and we still are experiencing symptoms. Husband had the IV infusion this AM.
Is there a reason why he didn’t get it sooner? The infusion I mean?Feel better
Thanks - we are. And thanks to our vaccines it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been. Nurses at the infusion site had horror story after story according to my husband.Feel better
