Starting yesterday, two numbers a day is allowed out each day! I feel like we are the only country coming out of the initial lockdown, for us which started March 16th officially. Everyone required to have a mask on outside the house, 6 ft from people when out, temps taken to enter any indoor space and hand sanitizer and shoe bleaching. Gathering of no more than 10 inside, business at 50% capacity, schools and movie theaters and indoor restaurant seating still closed for most. They just started a pilot of 50 restaurants with indoor seating at distanced capacity. Our island is finally testing a few hundred a week and a good number of them are coming back positive, our number of people in medical care is staying around 60-65. And a few come, a few are discharged. We have not had any deaths this week that I have heard.

Well, I haven't been in lock-down since the beginning of April but maybe I'm just seeing what I expect to see? In the past month I've been in Calgary (our home), Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa and Niagara Falls. All these places have fairly uniform restrictions. I have honestly not noticed people blatantly disregarding mask requirements nor have I seen any groups out in public together that don't appear to be family/households. Even in the super-touristy places we felt comfortable that rules were being well-enforced and compliance seemed high. And yes, we observed people of all ages.
They sprayed you with chlorine bleach?!? How is that even possible? It is extremely caustic. No way you could do that without sustaining injuries, let alone having your clothes ruined. That's the second craziest Covid thing I've heard, right after drinking fish-tank cleaner.
