What are we going to see from a Courtyard View at WL?:)

depends

when you check in - say you want a courtyard view of the MAIN pool - not the quiet pool.

then you might see the main pool, the lake, at night EWP.

Hopefully this!

We had a courtyard room last April and were on the other side of the hotel from the above picture. We were very close to the "end of the hotel" and it was very hard to see the lake. It was a decent view, but for the extra money that a Courtyard room costs, I definitely prefer a woods view where I could maybe see the castle thru the trees. JMHO. :wizard:

I actually prefer the view of the Villa Pool...which is the same rate as the Main Courtyard. Not quite as busy..but lovely if you have a view of the pool. ;)

I found two pictures to share. Our room number was 5005. The second picture is of the lake. Our view was obstructed by the trees & moss. It was still pretty.

Our room was situated directly above Artist Point.

Were you bothered by the pool lights at all? Just wondering..we usually don't stay on this side of the resort..but you did have a lovely view. Did you find it noisy..at all it appears to be right over the Roaring Forks area..the area you exit to eat outside.? Do you mind my asking which room number this was?

I just wanted to post some photos from last summer of the Villas/quiet pool side courtyard view :

We had a 5th floor room :

I have to try and find photos from our Villa Pool view..it was on the 3rd or 4th floor. We actaully had two rooms. One of them was supposed to be an upgraded view of Bay Lake..meaning it was at the end of the U shaped Resort looking straight out at the Lake. Only problem with that room was the trees had grown from when the resort was built and obscured any view of the water..and the balcony was stone...meaning you had to stand to see over it. The other room was on the outer side of the U...one room away from the Bay Lake room. It had a really lovely view of the Villa Pool...we could also see some of the marina area and Bay Lake. I've GOT to find out what our room number was. This was our favorite room and view at the Lodge. My older son actually took the room that faced Bay Lake...as he didn't care about the stone balcony. I enjoy spending time on the Balcony. It's a main reason we choose a Deluxe resort. So having the room facing the Villa Pool was just perfect for me. :wizard:

The pool lights were not bad at all. The heavy drapes keep out all light. The music from the pool was fairly loud in the afternoon, but they turn it off at night.

You are correct. Our room was directly above the doors that lead into Roaring Forks. The outdoor seating area for RF is pictured in one of the shots.

We were in room 4037, which featured a king-sized bed.

We had a killer courtyard view at the WL, if you enter the lobby and you are staring straight ahead that is the part of the building we were at, on the 4th floor to the left of the viewing room (we saw 2 weddings in that room). We saw the water, the pool, the geyser and the babbling brook...it was amazing
