Coupons???

After my recent trip to the grocery store, I've realized that I need to start using coupons. Now, I have never done this before and am needing your help. How do I get started? Are there any good sites that you like to use to get your coupons? Do you ever go directly to manufactures site for coupons? Any other recommendations or hints would greatly appreciated.

The first place to look for coupons is your Sunday newspaper. Depending on where you live, if you can't buy a paper that has coupon inserts such as Red Plum, Smart Source, General Mills, and P & G, you can order them from Ebay or other sites such as Coupon Clippers for a fee. You can also join a coupon train right here on the Budget Board. Two good ones are mine (ShiPooOwner) and Vegasnative's coupon trains. You would need to include coupons from a Sunday newspaper to do that though. You can go to the manufacturers' sites and print coupons from there, too. In stores, look for tear pads or blinkies. All You magazine that is available at Walmart has a lot of good coupons in it. Once you start couponing and combining them with store coupons and sales, you'll save a ton of money!

I frequent afullcup daily.. I do not buy the paper but receive a local neighborhood news on thursday that includes the sunday paper coupons. Most of my neighbors never pick up it up so if its still there a couple days later- I pick them up and file them away.. great for bogo sales..
