Coupons in the paper

Does anyone know what the best day to find coupons in the local papers is...In case it is regional I am in SE Mi. TIA

Sunday is just about the only day I think. Buy the sunday paper theres usually a couple of inserts in there.

I always find them in the sunday paper. I buy my local paper and the chicago tribune and they always have them.

Stores send weekly flyers which have coupons, our big Sunday newspaper has national inserts for brandname products and I clip the occasional one out of magazines. We also get mailers from one large chain grocery which has seasonal coupons or a focus on something like "pet supplies" if you've ever bought pet food and that same grocery gives coupons that print out at the same time as your receipt that are determined by what you have purchased--i.e., if you bought Lean Cuisines, you may get a coupon for $1-2 dollar off your next purchase of 5 or if you bought Iams dog food, you may get a coupon to try another brand.

I moan and groan about coupons but I admit it gives me a rush to see the money it saves

Our local newspaper has stopped adding coupon inserts. Of course I have called to complain and will not get home delivery until they get coupons back. The word is they will be back early next year but only to home delivery and not paper boxes. ?????

But I do agree most newspapers add coupon inserts on Sunday's edition. To find out which coupons will be coming up check out this site. New coupons are usually listed on Wed or Thurs.

I am trying to slim down the budget a little and bought today's paper and was really disappointed with the slim pickings of coupons in it. I thought maybe there was a specific day that coupons were in the paper that I was not aware of. Thanks.

The Detroit Free Press usually has 2-3 inserts in the Sunday paper. My Meijers (Port Huron) and Sams sells them for .99. I always check it before I leave the store, sometimes they are not stuffed right and some papers will be missing them.

I always check the one delivered to my home, as well. It is often missing a coupon section. When there aren't the usual two, I call the service number and ask how many there should have been. If they really missed one, they will send it to me, though it sometimes takes a couple more calls to actually get it delivered.
