I received my Secret Santa gift on Wednesday -- sorry that I didn't post earlier. We have had some bad weather lately which interferred with my Internet signal. My son layed the card on the floor and before I knew it my pig ate it. Yes I have an indoor pig. So I not quite sure who sent it.

But I want to thank the sender -- as a mother I give the gifts but rarely receive one -- so it was so nice to receive one for a change. I was sent two beautiful little Peacock memo pad books and a Christmas soap. Thank you! And Merry Christmas Everyone!

I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your gifts and that your pet pig enjoyed the card.. I bet it tasted really good. As a mother myself I totally understand how you feel. I give the gifts but I barely get gifts back in return. I guess that's just the way it goes for us mothers.

HMM! Another amazing month of savings and due to the holidays, not many of us had time to post savings. I'll bet January will bring a lot of postings about our savings using coupons. No amount is too small to post. Toot your savings horn whether it be big or small. No matter the amount, that's money in your pocket and not in the stores' cash registers!

I owe a deep apology to Ann (Adtillma). My husband has been in terrible pain this week -- in and out of doctor's office. This is a man that never complains and works when he is sick. It turns out he has a bad infection caused by a botched dental filling procedure. The new dentist is treating him with antibotics and heavy pain meds til the infection is gone. He will require a root canal but nothing can be done until the infection has cleared.

I noticed my envie in my purse when I took him to the doctor yesterday. I just forgot and I am sorry. I just wanted you to know why I hadn't sent one this week.
