So today is my birthday and I had it all planned out as this happens to be my off day from work. First mistake. Down here in the South any bit of frozen percipitation and everything comes to a stand still. So with a wintery mix predicted all of the schools are closed. There goes my all alone planned day.

But a couple of hours ago I looked out and saw this.

All of you up North please don't laugh or groan. I love the snow, (just don't want to live in it) so for it to snow on my birthday....but it isn't cold enough to stick. which is a very good thing down here. People just don't know how to deal with it. But I am a happy person today.

Being a Northener, I'm trying really hard to not Eyor. But seriously now, you absolutely deserve any type of birthday your little heart desires so if it's snow you want, I hope you get it all day long. I wish I knew how to post a picture of the snow in front of our house. It's piled up higher than me and I am absolutely positively sick of it so I wish I could send it all to you.

Just wanted to say I will try to get an envie out soon. With all this snow I have not been out in a week. My mailbox is covered and I have not gotten any mail nor could I put my envie in for the mailman. Everytime we shovel the plow comes by and covers it again. Spent today doing the driveway and car so maybe I will get to the post office tomorrow.

I buy the Sunday paper from one of those newspaper boxes -- I only pay $0.05 for the paper (love it!), however, my newspaper box has been buried for a week!!

and I have no idea when it's going to be accessible again!

Yes, that's all we got too and it was a skinny little thing. Next Sunday should be better.

If you want to take this week off, feel free to do that. Maybe by next Monday most of our riders will be able to find their driveways, cars, streets, mailboxes, and paper boxes but I'll bet the kids are all playing in it.
