Looks like a pretty good week at CVS which is good because I've got $22 in ECB's expiring. Yesterday I did the Nivea, Oust, chocolate Cheerios (yum!), Goldfish deals but they were out of Ritz so I got a raincheck for those.

I think I had a record shopping trip at CVS last week - receipt went from $63 to $19, thanks to coupons, sales, B1G1 offers, and a CVS ECB coupon. DH was duly impressed and considering the budget is a bit snug this week, I was mighty happy too. I'm still floating high on my cloud of frugality ... or maybe it's the sugar rush from our Valentine's Day rich rum sticky buns we made this morning...

Momejay - Two envelopes came in the mail yesterday. Thank you!! You may want to tape the envelopes in the future because they were both open (but luckily I think all of the coupons were there)

Honeymooner2004 - I have 3 small envelopes that will go out in the mail on Tuesday. One of the envelopes has coupons that expire by the end of the month. Hope there are lots you can use!

On a side note, I just ordered myself a CVS card. Apparently you can get pretty good deals there The closest one to me is about 20 minutes away, so I never really looked at their flyers. I'm going to have to figure out how all this works!

Once you get the hang of it, you're going to love shopping at CVS for their deals.

Be sure to subscribe to the CVS thread right here on DISboards that is posted every week by Flakypuff. The folks that post on that thread are super helpful and patient with newcomers and each other. I know because I was brand new at CVSing a year ago and had NO idea what I was doing and wasted a lot of $$ before I figured out the system to take full advantage of the deals. I learn something from someone every time I read the posts.

There are also good CVS for beginners sites such as Afullcup.com. If it seems overwhelming at the beginning, just start out slowly. For example, this week you could start with the Crest toothpaste or Colgate toothpaste or the Aussie shampoo or conditioner. If you have the right coupons for those products, you will not be putting out much money if any. For example, I bought two Crest for $7 and had two $1 off coupons. CVS gave me $7 in ECB's for buying the two Crest but I only had to turn over $5 in ECB's to pay for them because of the two $1 off coupons. (I hope I'm not confusing you even more with that explanation.)

ShiPoo I got the big one this morning. It was delivered yesterday but I didn't make it out to the mailbox yesterday. Yesterday was a PJ day. PJs, movies, and snacks all day. That was the V-day present DH and I gave each other because Sat. is usually the house work day at our house.
