DH also saved yesterday. He bought me a gift at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and realized too late that he forgot the 20% off coupon. they told him to bring it in and they would give him the discount. So he took it in with the receipt yesterday and they gave him $21.38 back! YAY! Super customer service.

Unfortunately, I won't be sending a second envie this week. The envie from last week's optional mailing never arrived and this week's arrived yesterday at 5 P.M. headache: our mail arrives so late in the day...) so I'll combine tomorrow's coupons with those received yesterday and get them out to you on Monday. Well this was my first day actually doing my coupons... I am so happy to say that between coupons and VIP discounts I saved 64.08. Not to bad for a first try. I left only having to pay 82.00 I expected to leave having to pay around 120.00. I know it doesn't sound like much but it is a good start for me. I used to do coupons every now and then but now it is becoming something I NEED to do. I have kids that have left home or will be leaving soon and I want to stock my cupboards so I can start storing stuff to give them when they need it.

I didn't receive an envelope this week, so unless it comes on Monday, I'll have to mail another small envelope to VELROX. I'll try to run out tomorrow to buy a second newspaper so I'll have some extra coupons to clip. (I get only one paper delivered on Sunday, and being new to this, don't have a coupon stockpile or anything.)
