Couples Massage on DCL

My partner and I are going to be on the Magic next Feb. It will be my first cruise. It will be his 10th but first one out. Has anyone done the couples massage? Was it a realxing and enjoyable experience?

Hi - We have done couples massages, but not on DCL just yet - only because we have not sailed them. I am pretty sure DCL will make it as comfortable as possible.

My hubby and I have gone on at least one cruise a year for the past 6 years...we're taking the LA repo and first Alaska in just over a week...and on the Dream this fall...and already booked Hawaii on the Wonder next year and a back to back out of NYC in August 2012. So we're avid DCL cruisers. We ALWAYS get couples massages and spa treatments. We've done regular massages, we often do the private spa villas with a "couples choice" treatment on the ships and we frequently do couples cabana massages at Castaway Cay. We never ever get spa treatments done separately and we've never had a bad experience or had a spa staff blink an eye at doing a gay couple couple's massage.

My partner and I did the couple's massage at Castaway Cay on a Disney Magic cruise in 2009. It was a really great experience, and no one seemed to bat an eye that we were two guys. We enjoyed the massage very much, and the sea breeze coming into the cabana was really nice. If you want to do the couple's massage, I would suggest doing it on Castaway Cay if you can get a spot. We have another booked for our Disney Dream cruise on July 1!
