I'm looking for recommendations for a "night out" for a couple, during a WDW trip. (I can go ahead and tell you that Victoria and Albert's is OUT, so any other recommendations are welcome)

For a nice night out we like either Yachtsman Steakhouse or Artist Point and we'd also consider Jiko and Bistro de Paris. We've eaten at all of these many times and love them all. Perhaps our favorite is Artist Point for a more quiet, romantic night if that's what you are after.

My DH and I are spending our anniversary dinner at Narcoossee's, which I hear is just lovely...

Yachtman's steakhouse is great. We also really enjoyed the Flying Fish. Both had good menu's, great service, and a nice way to spend some adult time together.

You can basically choose any place you want if you choose a later seating time (like 8:00pm or after)..most kiddies are getting ready for bed by then!

Artist Point and Jiko are tied for our favorite 'couples' restaurant followed very, very closely by California Grill.

All three have different atmosphere and very different food, so DH and I always try and decide what we are really looking for before we make our "date" restaurant.

I guess it depends on the kind of food you like and the kind of atmosphere you're looking for ...

A few of our favorite signature restaurants include Jiko, Flying Fish, and Bistro Paris. California Grill is also very good but it can be very busy and very loud there.

California Grill, Narcoossee's, Citrico's. They are all great!

bistro de paris, upstairs in france,

quiet (usually), no kids (usually)

go at 730 and stay through illuminations!!!!

If money is not a concern and you don't have to worry about dining plan we had a outstanding meal at wolf gang puck's upstairs. With wine it wasn't cheap but sooo good. We walked over to PI (which is closing in sept) to continue having some adult fun at Adventures club and Comedy Warehouse. Then walking back to the bus stopped and got a deadly sundae at the giredelli (sp?) shop :)

We also had a nice evening at Cali grill and got to see wishes outside which is a must see once type thing. Ask for the back wine room .. it's not as hectic as the main room.

Previous trips we've always had nice meals at Narcossee's and enjoyed YSH. I guess it really depends on what your in the mood for.

The San Angel Inn in Mexico is a good spot with this plaza at night feel overlooking the river.

My DW and I really enjoy Narcoossees. They have very good seafood among other entrees. The added attraction is the viewing of Wishes if it is on during your dining time. Although you can watch it from the restaurant, the last time we dined there we made the ADR for just after Wishes and watched it from the GF dock with several other couples. It was very nice and no one blocked our view. :thumbsup2

We also enjoy AP and FF on the BW for the food. Presently, however, the windows of FF have scaffolding blocking the view of the lawn because they are painting the building. I expect that will be finished soon. :)
