Couples Choice?

Is the Couples Choice option in the Vista spa the one that includes the spa villa with the private hot tub? Please tell me that it is!

I don't think so. I think the vistas have to be booked once you get onboard. I'm 99.99% sure I read that somewhere on DCL's website. Cause we were going to book it and I couldn't find it. I originally booked the couples choise, but that doesn't sound like you get the REAL massage/ or the hot tub/tea. So i canceled it.

Yes the Villa for two Couples Choice for 130 minutes is with the hot tub and can be booked online.

I'm confused. This is what DCL's website states. How do you book the
"Romantic hideaway" on-line? It looks to me like the "Couple Choice" does not offer a full massage (Elemis Deep Tissue Muscle Massage, a Swedish Massage are only mentioned for Romantic hideway). So if you book online do you only have the choice of 1/2 body massage with all the other foo-foo stuff?

Only the Couples Choice was available to book online when I booked it this morning (VERY early this morning). My interpretation of the difference between the two is that one is a choice of a 50-minute service and the other is a choice from among the 75-minute services. The 1/2 massage is in combination with the services that are listed - ex. Exotic Coconut Rub & Milk Ritual Wrap with half-body massage. If you just wanted a full body massage, then you would want the shorter services in the Romantic Hideaway and would have to wait until you get on board to book that.

Now, I have only booked it - not experienced it. I will be happy to update after the cruise!

When we booked couples choice - I booked online because I wanted to ensure we got the time/day we wanted. (sea day)

Once we checked in - the two therapists basically discussed the options with us , and we both got a full massage.

I think you can pretty much choose any of the 50 minute treatments you want.

FWIW, it seemed on our cruise that these villa treatments did not fill up -- they had extra time and days available - so if you don't book online - youcan prob go to spa on embarcation day and get something.

They also typically offer port day specials - but I am unsure if these apply to the villas.

Wow that is great to know. If I had known, I would have booked it at day 75. My DH is ONLY interested in massage- no "foo-foo" as he puts it (not man-ley I guess). I assumed that I'd have to wait till we got on boat. SO I am off to DCL website to try and book

My husband and I did the couples choice over our Christmas Cruise. Yes, the hot tub was private on the deck. Dh opted for the hot stone massage and I had a detox wrap followed by partial body massge. The therapists went over our list of choices - which seemed pretty much whatever they offer and we picked. It was heavenly and we loved having a few private moments away from the kids to focus on enjoying being together. We booked online ahead of time so we could be sure to get a sea day -but on board decided to change it to Christmas day (another sea day)- which was no problem - so it looks like you can do it either way.
