Nobody asked, but - thought I'd throw out a couple of suggestions for people looking for non-park things they might want to do.

If you're in town between now and Nov 26, you can tour some insanely large and insanely expensive homes just about 20 minutes from the world. Weekdays are cheaper.

For something year round, and I know this has come up before, the Saturday Sentinel had an article about local lake, river and and canal tours. We've done a couple of these, including Winter Park. They're inexpensive, very relaxing and lots of fun.

Oh so you've toured my new home..... :teeth: . Yay, I wish. What a great list to share. Thank you!!!

Thanks, we definately will do the boat tours this year during our 3 month stay...your info is copied and in our file!!!
Also put a bid in on one of the homes...if it goes through, the whole Dis board is invited out for cocktails!!!

Ted

I wish I had that back in August, I was looking for so many things to do in the area. I'll be printing this out for this coming summer.

Does anyone know where you could possibly rent a boat? Not one of the tours, or a canoe or anything.
