Just back from a week at the World and stayed for 1 night at the Country Inn & Suites LBV after a week at HGVC. Okay, maybe we were a little spoiled with the HGVC...:D , but 1 night here was enough for us, and we're not too hard to please, as we often do Super 8 motels and find most of them adequate. Generally, it needed updating. Some of the things we weren't happy about: the bathroom door handle was about to fall off. Can't imagine it was in such a state and no one noticed it before--other guests or housekeeping (we did report it at checkout). The tub floor had weird sloping sides and it was hard to move around in there--DH said he almost fell a couple of times. We were upgraded to a kidsuite, but I wasn't impressed with it--it looked like they built a little box and stuck it in the room, without regard to the rest of the room decor. In fact, the decorative border on the wall around the outside of the kids area (overlooking the king bed) had alien eyeballs on it, which was pretty weird! The walls were very thin and we could hear people in the next room as well as the hallway. The breakfast area in the lobby (free continental b'fast, including make your own waffles) was okay, but the area wasn't tended to very well and the tables needed to be cleaned off. The food offering was pretty good though--bananas, apples, muffins, pastries, bagels, cereal, waffles, milk, juice, etc. We decided not to try this CIS again, but I would consider the CIS at Calypso Cay in the future.
