I would appreciate any info about the kid suites at Country Inn and Suites at Calypso Cay Way . Are the twin beds full sized? Is the game system included in the price or is it extra like so many hotels?
thanks for any help - will be there Oct 11th unless I find out the beds are too small for the "big kids" (teens).

Just came bace from Country Inn and Suites and we had a kidssuite.
My kids are 8 &10. They fit in the beds nicely. I do not think that they are twin size. They were smaller. My husband laid down with my son to get him to go to sleep and fit ( he was able to lay down he's 5'10') but the beds are not as wide as a twin size.

The nintendo is not free(we blew$30., 4 hours at 6.95 hour plus tax here)

My kids loved the kids suites but they are not teens. Plusses are they get their own bed and tv. Minuses- it might be too kid for them???
The fridge, microwave and free breakfast were great.

We stayed there with our 2 and 4 year old sons. It was perfect for them. The beds are larger than a toddler bed but smaller than twin size. They are captain's beds and are about 3 or 4 feet off the floor. The room is very small. If there is a choice of a room with a pull out sofa in a seperate area, they might be more comfortable. I was shocked at how small the kid room was.

I did not stay in one, buit I insisted on seeing one when I was there. It is exatly the same size as a standard room with two double beds. They just take one bed out, and put up a little 'closet' area where two wooden frame bunk beds are built in with FOAM pads for mattresses. We were there ten nights and I would not subject my two kids to those beds.
The kid suite on deal was like $54 dollars a night and the standard room was 39.50 per night. When we stay there again, and if I decide I need more room, I'll get two adjoining standard rooms.

Thank you all for your replies-- got back from Orlando last night. We stayed at the Swan instead and while the room was nice I feel you really pay for the location more than anything. Guess I'm just spoiled by my DVC membership. I am glad we stayed at the Swan as it just makes me more certain DVC was the way to go for us. I will probably try Calypso Cay when we go again if we don't want to use weekend points and if we want to do things somewhere other than Disney as it does sound like a good place with the regular rooms and the breakfast included.
Thanks again.
