Country Bear Christmas Jamboree

I'm watching a YouTube video to get my daughter excited about going to Disney this Christmas season (she's two, so I seem to be more into it than she is). On the video is says the CBJ does a special version for Christmas and they show part of it with the bears singing Christmas carols. I haven't been to DW at Christmas since 2005, and I'm not sure if I saw the Country Bear Jamboree that trip. Do they still do this? I don't think I've heard of it before.

Disneyland does not have the Country Bears anymore. Looking quickly online, it appears WDW ceased doing the Christmas version around 2005 due in part to copyright issues with some of the songs.

Correct. In 2001 Disney put out a "Mr. Toad style hit" on the Bears and replaced the attraction with Pooh. That silly 'ol bear has taken out two classic attractions.

I had a chance to see the Christmas Bears once at WDW. Very cute.

We've gone to WDW but not DL. I remember that I knew that the one in DL closed now

Agreeing with all the info above, I will add that we were at WDW at Christmas last year and there was no special holiday version.

Unfortunately they don't do it anymore.
I used to go late November every year growing up so that's the only version I knew until I went in August/September one year. I did not like the regular version at all. Ugh Blood On The Saddle makes me ill. The next time I went during the Christmas season the overlay was no more.

The only place to see a Christmas version of CBJ these days is at Tokyo DL (where it's called Jingle Bell Jamboree).

Well that's a bummer. I wish they'd still do things like that with some of the attractions at Christmas.

At WDW, they do Jingle Cruise now.
