Counting Our Nuts Like Chip & Dale, a Financially Aware PTR *Update 4/17 Pg 62 *

I had a very successful ADR morning today. At first I panicked because I didn't get the memo from Disney that they don't open the online dining reservations until after 6AM, I thought it was earlier than that. Oh well, at exactly 6:04am I was making my ADRs.

Monday 1/16: Yachtsman Steakhouse @ 5PM

Tuesday 1/17: Kona Cafe @ 5:15PM

Thursday 1/19: Narcoossee's @ 7:30PM

Not terribly exciting but it works for us. I started to freak out a bit about our dinner times and days because we are having our pictures taken by my friend but I decided that if it doesn't fit into our schedule then so be it. We can have pictures taken at home, I need this to be a low stress trip, because that is the point of taking a vacation in the first place!

ADRs are set, park days are set...so now what? Shopping lists? Must dos? Packing list? Ahhh...I love all the fun stuff you get to do when you are planning a Disney trip. :goodvibes

180 days!!! :jumping1::hyper::jumping1::hyper::jumping1:

:thumbsup2

Happy ADR Day!! :) And yay for 180 days!!!!!!!:dance3:

ADR's look good! Congrats on getting what you wanted! Only DISers can get so excited about being 180 days out from a trip - LOL!

 :cool1: :woohoo: Yay for a successful ADR booking day!!!!
Woo Hoo!! I think this is the least amount of ADRs I have ever made.

Congrats on getting the ADR's you wanted! :woohoo: I love ADR day, it makes the trip seem so much closer!
ADR day really does make the trip seem so much closer!

Yahooo or (woot woot as Jen would say!) for securing your ADR's!! Great choices and great times you ended up with!

Of course now, lots more list making to do, but Disney list-making is far above :thumbsup2
I adore making lists but Disney lists are much more fun to make.

Happy ADR day LL!!!!! Mine seems like it wasn't that long ago and here I am one month out!!!!!
I can't wait to be a month out, I am ready for a vacation NOW.

:thumbsup2

Happy ADR Day!! :) And yay for 180 days!!!!!!!:dance3:
Woo Hoo!!!

 Awesome!!!!
:thumbsup2

Yeay for 180 days and ADR Day!!!

I am looking forward to all your packing lists, must-dos, and shopping lists!
I'm really in the mood to make a packing list which is weird because I usually don't make a packing list at all, I wing my packing the night before. :lmao:

ADR's look good! Congrats on getting what you wanted! Only DISers can get so excited about being 180 days out from a trip - LOL!
I know, right? My mom thought it was crazy for me to be figuring out where I want to eat six months from now.

Congrats on the ADRs! They look good, and sadly, are making me hungry. ;)

You know, I've yet to try Kona. And it seems to be pretty popular with our DIS friends. Maybe next time.

Yay for you adr's!!!! They all look yummy and I am hungry so now I want to eat.

Looks like things are really starting to come together. Great job on sticking to your budget and trying to de-stress the trip. :thumbsup2 And I have to say, a Shrimp Po' Boy from Restaurantasaurus sounds pretty good right about now.

Oh, you know I am going to have to wax rhapsodic about staying at AKL!

You talk so pretty....:cool1:

I had to Google "wax rhapsodic", and this is what showed up!

I think this is a great look for you!

That doesn't sound selfish at all. Honestly, I don't think I'm meant to vacation with other people. It's just too hard for me. You are a saint in my eyes for having two successful trip with them or anyone for that matter.

I have NEVER had a bad Disney trip! I have traveled there with just one other person, with immediate family only, with immediate and extended family, and with a Disney friend. Every trip was enjoyable and different. I'm not sure how to judge a successful trip, but I know I was satisfied after each one. I love being there just with Wigd. I love having Baylor with us. I have enjoyed each trip with the girls (ok, maybe these were a little trying). I am looking forward to the upcoming Christmas trip with all the kids and the two grandchildren. I absolutely loved having Jen accompany us this past June, and we are pumped to have her come with us on the park/cruise/Vero/park trip next June. Maybe my expectations are different, but I really cannot see any person/s ruining my time at Disney. I am almost oblivious to the crowds as well. Multiple yearly trips since 2008 may have something to do with it. Enough rambling..........

Have fun at Disney!

YAY your ADR's look awesome! Kona Cafe is one place I'm dying to try. I've looked at the menu and everything and decided on what I'd get if I went. :lmao:

Shocker, you were certainly in fine form yesterday!!! :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

I bet I would make quite the impression on students with that "new look." Wonder if they would learn prepositions easier? :rotfl2:

ADR's look great LL!!! Congratulations on getting what you wanted!! :goodvibes

Definitely look into JB for your flights. Love them and the tv's ;) And as Kristen said check out yapta too....gives you a weekly update and does all of the work for you:thumbsup2

Whenever I think about Disney food I start to get hungry. You really should try Kona, it is quite delicious and I think you'd like the atmosphere there.

Awesome ADRs! Those look great!! :)
Thank you!

Yay for getting your ADRS!:cool1:
Woo Hoo!!

Yep, pretty much that's me too.

It's really really hard to stick to my budget. The Hollywood Brown Derby is calling my name, it's upset at me that I do not have an ADR there. I think the Shrimp Po' Boy will be delicious! Although the onion rings at Flame Tree BBQ sound delicious too!

You talk so pretty....:cool1:

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: I can just imagine what her students would do if she walked into the classroom like that.

It's not good to deny any Marc!
Nobody puts Marc in the corner.

I've had fantastic trips with Jen and wonderful trips with my Marc but traveling in big groups is not my idea of fun. In 2003 I went with six adults and 1 teenager and it was NOT a good trip at all. Trying to please too many people who had different ideas of how a vacation should be. With that being said, Jen & I have very similiar touring schedules so we travel well together I think. I even had a great trip with my Mom. Marc tells me that when we buy DVC he'd love to do a huge gathering with his side of the family with cousins, aunts, uncles and my inlaws. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I think if everyone toured on their own and then came together for certain meals or activities that would be good but I can't imagine park touring with a group of 20 people. :scared1:

I highly recommend the coconut almond chicken, it was SO GOOD in 2008.

He really was. I think you should test run the new look!
