My family has a trip planned starting September 20. We have all our ADR in line. Now I am planning on some don't miss counter service locations.

I definitely want to go to Wolfgang Puck Express!

Any other don't miss locations? We are staying at Coronado Springs if anyone can comment on the counter service at this resort.

Thanks! :worship:

Also at DTD try Earl OF Sandwich.....they have the best selection and they are all delicious...
AT MK try Cosmic Rays and the fixin bar for your burgers. They also have chicken and ribs and salads and soups.....very good selections.
At Epcot, we love to eat Mexican and Rose and CRown fast food......Also the Land has a great area with many things to choose.....

my favorites (atleast for the parks) are:

Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbor House has really good thick cut french fries... SO good. and if Pirata is open (it's seasonal) thats the best!

EPCOT: Electric umbrella is pretty good.

DHS: Not too tickled by any of their counter service, truth be told...

AK: Yak and Yeti is table service but they also have counter service. It's SO good, it should be illegal. And Flame Tree BBQ is pretty delicious as well. :)

Can't comment on Coronado Springs, but each time we visit, these are our must-do's.

MK: Columbia Harbor House
EP: Kringla (in Norway)
AK: Flame Tree BBQ

Unfortunately, haven't found anything decent in DHS. And we've never tried any of the CS places in DTD.

AK- Flame Tree BBQ
MK- Columia Harbor House
HS-Toy Story Pitza Plannet
EPCOT-Mexican Cantina, Kringla for a Snack Credit
DTD-Earl of Sand but got to try WGP Express
Typhoon Lagoon-Typhoon Tillys

We like:

Kingdom - Columbia Harbor House
Epcot - Mexico or The Land
Animal Kingdom - Flame Tree BBQ
Not sure about Studios since we used to like the Commissary but the menu has changed

We loved El Pirata Y El Piroco (or whatever it's called) in MK/Adventureland, but it's only open seasonally. It's fast food Mexican, but with a fresh fixins bar. We also LOVE Sunshine Seasons in the Land in Epcot. Great desserts! Yak & Yeti at AK is great CS. However, stay away from ABC Commissary at DHS. I hear that it used to be good, but it was not worth our time.

HS: Toy Story Pizza Planet is a must for the kids
Kingdom: Don't have one
Animal Kingdom: Flametree BBQ
Epcot: The Electric Umbrella is actually the only one we tried
Downtown: Wolfgang Puck Express
Coronado: Peppermarket

MK: Cosmic Rays
EP: Sunshine seasons
AK: Flametree
DHS- I strongly dislike all the CS in this park, but can tolerate Pizza Planet

MK- Columbia harbor house
EP- Sunshine seasons
DHS- none Yuck
AK- Flame tree - hands down!
As for Pepper market it is the best CS option on Disney property. the meals are huge, great choices, and yummo! You also can get it to go to avoid the 10% added tax and go sit by the water at the tables outside. Beautiful resort!

Epcot - Sunshine Season
Studios - just grab a turkey leg
AK - Flame Tree - best CS in the whole park, anywhere, hands down
MK - Columbia Harbour House

Bumping!! I can't think of anything that hasn't been mentioned already!!:goodvibes

I know lots of snack places though;)

Toy Story Pizza Planet seems to win out in DHS. Can ya'll fill me in? Cool atmosphere? Good menu choices for kids? How quick is the service? Snythign to definitely get, or not get, for that matter? TIA!

Yes...I would love great snack recommendations!

Does anyone know if the candy apples at the Main Street (MK) Candy store are a snack option?

Is there a list somewhere of what is and is not a dining plan approved snack?

I personally think it is pretty good. You get pizza, salad, dessert, and a drink. The pizza isn't the greatest but isn't bad either, the atmosphere is great, like an arcade, it is just like the the place in the Toy Story Movie. You get a choice of the pizza you want so it isn't just cheese and you get a good size portion. I haven't had a bad experience there yet and it is a counter service not a table service so I am not expecting anything gourmet just pizza.

My little one was kind of partial to Casey's Corner for a good Quick Service meal.
