Counter service fried chicken?

All-Star Movies has Fried Chicken on Fridays at Dinner. They also have BBQ Chicken on Sundays and Thursdays at Dinner.

I think the only ones that has fried chicken are some of the food courts on certain days of the week.

There's chicken and waffles at Sleepy Hollow, also there is chicken at CHH--I think they still have the chicken "fingers" there.

If that is gas station quality chicken, then what is "better"? Seriously, their chicken is crispy, seasoned well (although I could always go for a bit spicier, but I understand they have to go with a balance) and juicy. Not sure what else you could want, although if it isn't crispy enough for you, then Flo V8's Cafe is pretty much the same recipe, but their chicken is crispier for some reason. If you want spicier, there is the Chicken Shack at Paradise Pier, but these are drumsticks only and has a set side (can't remember what it is right now).

Again, it wasn't bad...it was good. Just fairly run-of-the-mill for what you can get where I live. Lots of local places with better.

We ate at Flo's too, and my son had the fried chicken there as well. He is a fried chicken fanatic. I tried a bite of his. It was fine, as well.

Sorry you seem so aggravated by it.

You betcha.

o_O Gas station chicken?? That sounds... not yummy

I mean... I know 7-11 has pizza...

I do LOVE skipper canteen’s ‘tastes like chicken because it is’ but that’s not really traditional fried chicken. Also I’m from Vancouve, BC - we are not known for fried chicken :rotfl:and I can’t have gluten, so I’m generally just excited to get something fried.

Olivia’s Cafe at OKW also has fried chicken.
I really like the Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken with cream gravy and mashed potatoes. It is a boneless chicken breast and quite good.

:lmao: This is a shock for me too! Honestly, I would be too afraid to try gas-station-fried-chicken.

I've had it and it's fried chicken. It's not the greatest, but it's still better than Church's Chicken. It's almost like the deli fried chicken at a grocery store.

When I think about gas station chicken, I think Chester's Chicken.

This isn't counter service either, but House of Blues at Disney Springs also has fried chicken.

There will be a new counter service place specializing in fried chicken, opening at Disney Springs in the area of the first level of Planet Hollywood. It will be called Chicken Guy. Not sure when it is scheduled to open for business.

They are not counter service.

Also HDDR.

Disney used to have chicken fingers, but now all is nuggets.

You got good info above, sadly there isn't many places with real fried chicken that isn't expensive or a pain to get.

:sad2: POR Food Court used to have awesome fried chicken with biscuits we would drive there just to eat, now lots of burgers ...

They had chicken tenders at several places at WDW last week. Notably, the water parks.
