We are traveling mid Oct and staying at ASSP. We have the DP and are interested in getting an EARLY start on CS breakfast since we want to be at the parks either prior to or upon opening.
Any recommendations on where to go for quick yet worthwhile breakfast during our stay and how to get there???
We are already have 2 TS locations booked, Boatwrights and Kona.

We have already planned CS lunch (in addition to BF) for our days in MK and AK but those days we are going out of the parks or Epcot we elected to do breakfast so it would not interupt our day. There are so many good places at the resorts to eat lunch (and BF as well) but who wants to waste time traveling out of the park to only return. Do you agree or do you have any suggestions?

You must be staying at AllStarSports!!! that's why you got bleeped above :lmao:

Anyway, who's with you? Chef Mickey;s is great for kids, and its a quickmonorail ride over there!

Enjoy your trip!

Wow I did not realize it would do that, kind of funny!
No kids, just me and my husband. I do not think Chef Mickey's is a CS on the DDP.

Since you're staying at ASSP, why not just use your CS credit for breakfast there ... it would certainly be the fastiest and easiest thing to do. Somehow I don't think CS breakfasts vary all that much from one place to another.

I agree- you are not going to find an out of this world CS breakfast-- I am still wondering why we cant use the CS for breakfast at Wolfgang Puck Express- NOW THAT BF MENU LOOKS GOOD! :thumbsup2

You can also use a snack credit for a croissant if you didnt want something too big. -- OR a snack credit is nice at the Main Street Bakery-- they have some fun stuff in the morning--- OK- well all day too!

Tusker House also has a CS breakfast- but not sure if they serve very early in the AM.

The food court at the AS Sports has pretty good food. A couple of days we would get the breakfast platter and split it with an extra muffin. We however enjoyed breakfast at Pepper Market at Coronado Springs. If you have a car, it is only a 10 minute drive from your hotel. If not, it would mean a bus ride to somewhere else first, then a bus ride to CS. At Pepper Market, you have a choice of an omelet, a breakfast skillet (scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage and a biscuit or muffin), breakfast burrito, belgian waffles, fruit, cereal, pastries. This was probably our favorite CS restaurant of our entire trip.

TammyBell, I did see the PM menu and it looked good but we do not have a car so it is probably off our list since even by bus it will take awhile to get there.
Are the breakfast platters that big to share at ASSP?

Maddhatir, I did see that TH may open at 9:30, may be an option we would have to do some of the park first for EMH then stop for a bite but we are so strapped for time since we are doing AK only until 2 that day. I know about the French Toast loaf at Main St Bakery, do you recommend something that can be used as a snack credit?

That is an option but not for all the days we want to eat breakfast.
It does stink that most of the places have the same menu basically, unless they are TS which they look wonderul!

Lisa- have you checked out the confirmed snack credit thread??
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1109080

it lists more items at the bakery- including the french toast. Many times it seemed like they would give you whatever you wanted when using your credits- when doing a CS at TH one day- I asked if the drink was large or small for the CS -- she said- whatever you want! So I think just b/c its not on the list- you still might have a chance of using the snack credit- just ask! But i has to be under 4.00 :goodvibes

The Biegnet's at POFQ are a snack credit. They only charged us 1 snack credit for the order of six. We asked before ordering & they said just the order of 3 was considered snack but they rang 15 total as 3 snack credits. Had we known we would have gotten 3 orders of 6. The boxes of Entenmans donuts are a snack credit also.

The breakfast platter isn't huge, but with adding a muffin or pastry of some sort using a snack, we had planty of food. We also had a coffemaker in the room, so we usually got a bottle of water as our drink to take with us to the park. We also used a snack credit in the gift shop for a box of Entemann's doughnuts and mini chocolate chip cookies which filled in gaps when we needed it.
