Counter Service at Future World

Next week, about 12 of us -- ranging from grandparents to babies -- will be at WDW for several days. We plan on spending a good half-day or more at Future World in Epcot. Can anyone recommend a good counter-service restaurant there that can accomodate a group of 12?

There is only one counter service restaurant in Future World; it is the Electric Umbrella and shares a building with Mouse Gear.

The Land is in Future world too. There is a big food court in the Land where everyone can order whatever they want to eat and then sit at tables together. Last time my family group of 10 went we ate here. For dinner, we ate in Germany which also worked out great.

The land is closed right now because of the new attraction, Soarin' going in at this time next door. I don't know for sure when they will reopen, but for sure by the spring when the 50th celebration kicks off.

Electric Umbrella is pretty much it right now. But apparently there is also a new "Express Dining" (http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_ex.htm) next to the Fountainview Cafe (itself just a bakery). It was probably put in because of the (temporary?) closing of Sunshine Season Food Fair in the Land. Even still, I would expect these places to be pretty crowded with the Land closed. If you're really only going to spend half a day in Future World and not go to World Showcase afterward, consider a good breakfast and a mid-morning snack, and lunch after leaving the park.

i think electric umbrella is gross especially when you are in epcot and close to so many delicious counter services in the WS! if i were you i'd hop on the little boat that goes across the WS lagoon and eat at the morrocco or japan counter service.

If you HAVE to do fast food, take one of the nice boats across the lagoon to the American Adventure pavilion and eat at the Liberty Inn.
