I LOVE DeeVee Cee's videos! Sometimes I'm SHOCKED at what they allow her to say though, it's Disney!!! Does she appear live in person? Do they allow character meet & greets if so? I so want my picture with her!!!

In April Dad and I waited about 20 min. but this time we only had one or two groups in front of us so it wasn't long at all! The nice thing about it though is that they take a ton of pictures...like we had a group shot and then my sisters and I all got to go individually.

Yes, she is live and in person! LOL. She actually hosts the WHW show, atleast she did when we were there. I am sure if you wanted she would pose for a picture!

Oh and PS, I started my TR.

Packing. It's a chore I do not love.

I have not started. In our teeny apartment I don't have a place to put the suitcase even if I wanted to!!

However, I have started to stuff items on a shelf in my closet in preparation. The current plan is for Henry and I to take the stroller and a back pack on the plane, I want to have both my hands free. Joe will follow the next day with the big suitcase.

Backpack

• One full outfit for me, wear the shoes on the plane I plan to wear the next day
• One full outfit for H + extra shirt. Same deal on the shoes.
• My swimsuit
• H's swimming gear
• Diapers and wipes
• Necessary toiletries
• H's camera
• Autograph book

I will also have my Baggalini in which I'll put the iPhone, wallet, and the camera.

A while ago I went through our "Travel Bin" and pulled out what we would need for this trip...

Poncho's - Backpack
DVC Friendly Coffee Filters - Backpack
Tiger light up toy - Backpack
Spastic Mickey light up toy - Suitcase

Only bringing the 2 Tide's. Both will go into the suitcase.

Swim diapers - a couple into the Backpack, the rest in the suitcase
Arm floats - Suitcase
Goggles - Suitcase

LGMH's - Backback
Broken fan - Doh. Garbage.
Moleskin - Backpack

Two new mini fans purchased.

Joe demonstrates. They work pretty well. Backpack.

One pack of coffee good for one pot of coffee. Hmm...this won't do.

Bag-o-coffee purchased. Much better. Backpack.


Also being packed into the suitcase will be Henry's $2 McQueen flip flops that he loves. Earlier in the season I couldn't get a flip flop on him without a meltdown. Now he insists on wearing them!

And I THOUGHT these cool sunglasses would also make an appearance...

However...they are already broken. They didn't even last 24 hours. Good thing we have another (nicer) pair and these were only $2 as well!

The only things I have left to purchase is a new bottle of sunscreen and a couple cheap "distraction" toys for Henry.

I think.

We ordered a few things from Garden Grocer - milk, Cheerios, muffins, granola bars, water and some snacks. I've packed many of these items before (no, not the milk! ), but it will be nice and convenient just to have them delivered.


I think I have a decent handle on what needs to be packed, and where it needs to be packed, which will hopefully prevent a crazy last night before we leave. But is that night truly preventable? No matter how much planning I do, it always seems like a whirlwind to get out of the house!

I feel like I'm forgetting something obvious. Clothing, toiletries, cameras, food delivery, ponchos, diapers, kid....what could it be?

I like your see-through clips for your Mickey Heads. Where did you find those?

Your list looks good to me. I don't think I saw purell or any type of sanitizing wipes.

Joe is REALLY good at forgetting his AP. However, we are going to buy them at the gate this trip. I wanted to buy them before they went up in price the finances didn't align.

Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tarts were on the Garden Grocer list! No joke! Those are so tasty (and on sale this week at CVS 3/$5!), we opted for a different, slightly healthier "to go" breakfast item though.

The packing list looks great to me! I cannot think of anything you missed.

The see through clips came in a laminating kit we had for badges. Why my husband had this, I haven't a clue. They work slick though!

Have you ever thought of looking into OL? I have really considered it....I was just thinking of you because of the space in your apartment and stuff need for Henry...and your coffee filters I am still on the fence about it because I am just one person....but I think I could fill it up....shampoo, sunscream, spare Crocs laundry supplies....hmmmm I may be on to something
I have the Undercover Tourist app too...there is a just plain Disney app that I am sure Henry could find some fun stuff on...games, characters, and trivia for you!

We are brown sugar cinnamon pop tart fans here too when we are busy too. I am sure there will be more than a few eaten this fall as we adjust to the full day at school schedule. I always try to make myself feel better about giving the kids poptarts by buying the whole grain ones.

Finally catching up on all my subscribed threads. Your packing list looks great, minus the tickets that everyone has already brought up and you indicate you are purchasing there. We certainly would not want you to pull a "TIM" on your trip with no tickets.

I never do a packing list, but I do run around like an idiot at the last minute trying to stick the last few items in my backpack. I usually start my suitcase about 3 weeks prior. Wait....it will be 3 weeks for me this weekend!~Not gonna happen. Maybe next weekend.

Have you stayed at the Boardwalk before? I am so curious to see how you like it. I really want to stay there and, of course, BC. I would love to stay there in May. Can't wait to see the pictures!
