Your plans sound great!! Very relaxed and go with the flow. I need to repeat that mantra to myself as well!! I tend to get a little crazy when my OCD plans don't get met!

It's good to remember that it's all about the experience for the kids, and watching them have fun is really the best part!
On that note, I wish I had thought about planning more lunch ADR's than dinner ones. The only one I'm really worried about is Le Cellier, which of course I really don't want to miss! Most of the rest are buffets, which should be easy to keep David entertained.
I don't know about getting the light up toy attached to a milk, but I'm hoping they can, cause I was going to do the same thing!

Just to warn you though, I heard that they retired McQueen and now have Buzz- which should be fine with Henry!
Wow- Henry is 39 inches already?! He is tall! David was only 37 when I measured him (not super accurately though!) I'm just hoping he can go on the Barnstormer!
I may just have to steal your idea on the autograph book- that is really cute!! I've been looking on etsy and ebay for good ones, but I think one that can keep them entertained during long waits might be the best!
Can I take you up on your offer of a postcard? I think David would really love it and it would get him excited for our trip- not that he needs any help! Today he has asked me no less than 10 times- "are we going to Dizzy world today? And ride the racecars, and get a balloon?" Soo funny!

I'll PM you my address.
I sometimes get a little worked up and disappointed about missed plans too, I have to remind myself often that "We'll be back" and "It's okay!" and truly, when I look back at old trips the most magical memories are those when we were relaxed and enjoying it all - letting Henry "guide" us a bit by looking at the ducks and whatever else! That really is the best part!
I hadn't thought of the awesome lunch idea either! It was all Kristen!!! Makes a lot of sense though. We've done many dinners with Henry and he has been just fine in the past, but as he grows up, he's getting harder to get to sit still.

The buffets really are easier to keep the entertained at too, and you can more easily gauge how long your meal lasts.
I am really hoping they will attach it to the milk! I can't imagine they wouldn't. It'd still pay $7 or whatever for it. And a Buzz would be awesome! Either one, he'll be delighted. I'll try to remember to report back to you about the milk - if I don't please remind me. Also, I'll be posting on FB throughout the trip, so I can post it right away there when we get it.
Henry is tall, a lot of people have mistaken him for older than what he is. I really hope he wants to do Barnstormer again - he didn't exactly enjoy it last time....

but maybe, just maybe! I think the height on that is 34"? So David should be just fine! Have you ever ridden it? It packs a bigger punch than I expected from a "kiddy" coaster. It whips ya a bit and goes pretty fast!
I'm excited about the book! Feel free to steal the idea! I swiped it from other DISers too.

It's a great looking book, one page is dedicated to each character. It will be a lot of fun to take back with us over the next few trips and try to get as many as we can! I think it was $12.99 at
Amazon.
That is SO cute about David asking about "Dizzy World"! Henry asks almost every day, the countdown has really helped this year because he'll ask and when I say "Not today" he'll point to the top link on the chain and say "Up there!" I'm guessing we won't be able to make it down Main Street without getting a balloon either this year....so far we've been able to distract him off them, but it's inevitable!

The racecars are high on the list as well. He had a ball with Joe in there last time, I'm gonna ride this time too!!! And yes, absolutely, I'd love to send David a postcard! Er...have MICKEY said him one!

PM me whenever you can with your address.
I've just seen my name more than once - will reply to your PM soon I promise!
And I like the lunch time ressies tip - might just be going back through my own list in a minute!
And now I have to reply to yours!
I think that lunch-time idea is golden. It makes so much sense! It's a perfect time to get out of the heat, relax, eat, reapply sunscreen, change the diapers...the kids will eat and not be quite exhausted yet. Love it!
No worries on our meet. I really hope it happens but if things change, we can change it up. I do want to meet you though, so hopefully something will work out.
We will land around 10AM, so I hope to head over to MK by 12 after ME and checking in. Hopefully that time will work for you.
Your plans sound really great!! A great mix of plans and relaxation.
Thanks for understanding! I think it will work out just fine - I bet if I hadn't told Joe I put it on the agenda and instead had been stealth about it, just "suggesting" MK for the afternoon he would have rolled right with it. Which gives me ideas for the next trip. He doesn't need to know everything, right???

I REALLY want to ride the HM with you! I love that idea for a meet!
That time should work out just fine for us. We'll be slowly making our way from our late morning at Cape May to MK, so we'll get there around Noonish. You got my new number right? With texting? I'll text you when we are there. I think Liesa and I are going to meet that same day for Splash if you want to join us there too!

I just missed the long update you posted just before my reply...
A few comments:
Wow, Henry is nearly 40 inches. That does open up a lot of rides for him!! You could even take him on Test Track or Splash!
I think with the playgrounds it might be actually worth it to head there first thing in the morning (at DHS after getting fastpass for TSM) to avoid the heat. I think you are there during a very slow time, so don't worry about wait times to much!
For your last day my guess would be that you end up going to Epcot: so much easier to just walk to a park on your last day.
I love Sunshine Seasons for dinner, it is not crowded at all there in the evening. Also my tip for Illuminations would be: go to the area at the lagoon just where the walkway from Future World arrives, between the two small buildings with shops in them. There is plenty of space, you can sit on the ground while you wait and have a great view, even if you are further in the back. There might be more room for Henry to move around a bit while you are waiting. Also, my educated (

) guess would be that Epcot is fairly empty on the day you are there and during my trips in January when Epcot was uncrowded I found plenty of space in this area even 10 minutes before show time. However, sometimes there are private events in that area, so better check that beforehand.
I think Henry would LOVE Test Track...it's C-A-R-S!

But not sure about Splash-he still seems to get scared easily, the drop might freak him out...we'll have to test his reaction on Pirates first. If he makes it by September 2 I'll let him call the shots. I'll explain the ride to him and then we'll go from there. Whenever it does happen, it will be a BLAST to take him on all the big rides! I can't wait to get his reaction on TT!
I think it was last September that we did the HISTK as the first thing, right after getting TSM FPs, and you are right, it was nicer in there, not quite as nasty.

I'm going to file that away in my brain...plus Henry would be still in a great and active mood to run around and have fun.
I can see us ending up in Epcot a lot this trip. Good food, Joe's favorite park, close and easy...Nemo!

We'll see!
I love hearing that Sunshine Seasons isn't busy at dinner! It's always such a madhouse for lunch. I know exactly where you are talking about for Illuminations - we've done near that spot once and we really liked it, I'm going to copy this into my notes, thank you for the tip my friend! And I do believe your "educated guess" on Epcot being empty will be CORRECT.

(I love the UG!)
