I think one thing that really helped me with getting into running (and staying into it) is the supprt from others! My first 5k I signed up for because a colleague insisted I should come along. And she is still great for training advice etc. Yesterday evening I went out for a run because I felt after reading about you and Liesa keeping to your training schedule despite the heat, I really need to make an effort as well. I was quite proud of myself that I did run a bit longer than usual: 45 minutes!

I need to train longer distances for my 10k in October.
One thing I really love is the Nike+ app in my Iphone (was preinstalled). You need to get a sensor to put on your shoe. Supposedly you ought to have Nike+ shoes to put the sensor in your shoe, but there are these little pouches available with which you can attach the sensor to your shoe laces. When you synchronize your IPhone with Itunes it then sends all the data from your run to the Nike+ website and there you have an overview of all your runs. It is a really neat thing and when it told my yesterday that I did run my fastes kilometer ever, I was quite proud!!
My favourite apps are:
the standard weather one (I have all kind of places on it, including Orlando)
Alarm Clock (I really use it as my alarm every night, but that means it has to be plucked into the mains at night, this app drains the batteries, but then I never have to worry about recharging, because it is fully charged in the morning)
iXpenselt (for keeping a budget, I really like that one to keep an overview of my expeditures)
2Do (I even have the full version. love it for keeping lists)
one from my bank which tells me the nearest ATM (and can do online banking)
the standard map app and an app for public transportation in Germany
my favourite game is Chuzzle and I also have Crash Kart which is fun to play, I am just not very good at it.
Besides that I really use it as my calendar and adress book, so I don't have those in paperform anymore. This is the thing I like best about the IPhone, I just have one phone instead of phone, Ipod, calendar and city map.
