I'm glad you have found something to do to pass the time. Can't believe how close your trip is!!

Hope none of the scenarios occur this time round. Although I love early flights because it means you have more time at Disney or any other destination I hate having to get up that early. Though this time round don't think I'll be able to sleep anyway!

Have a wonderful time - have not been on much - still trying to get settled from our trip and all the uproar with band camp. Can't wait to read the trip report! We loved Garden Grill this time.

We've only used a dining plan once and that was when we had free dining. It wasn't a good fit for us since we prefer sit-down meals, appetizers/salads, and no or shared desserts. We also don't buy a lot of snacks at Disney since we tend to bring our own. I didn't realize with DVC you can change your dining plan by the day!

The DVC pick a day option will probably be nonexistent next year. It is problematic with the computer system.

We like taking those early flights. The airport is not crowded, and we are in WDW by lunchtime. We enjoy a park for a good part of the day and get an early bedtime; then we're ready to go full speed when we wake up on our first full Disney day!

Hello everyone!

Tomorrow morning I get to check in for Southwest! We are not packed yet...

The girls played in their first tournament today. This was the first time the team played a game together with the exception of a couple scrimmages at camp where the camp coach stopped them during play to coach.

They lost, but played really well. They are a div. 3 team and had to play div 2teams. The second game was much tougher, but wow, we were proud of them! (especially our girls but the whole team did well! )

They have another game tomorrow morning against their club's div 2 team (the ones they scrimmaged); hopefully, they have some mercy...

Then, I will pack (if I don't do it tonight...I am ready to fall into bed now.)

Hey Debby - I know I need to update you on my trip - still thinking about a trip report.....BUT - have a small favor since you are headed to the World. If you get a chance could you get a picture of the exterior of the Snow White ride in Fantasyland? I neglected to take any pictures there, meant to and forgot. That ride is closing as part of the expansion - although we did ride it twice last month.

In twelve short hours we will be on the plane! I am about 95% packed- just need to throw the toiletries bag in the suitcase in the am. The girls are packed and dh has his stuff in a pile on the floor, so he will be packed soon.

Now, I just need to vacuum the living room/ dining room and polish the hardwood. Dh will vacuum and mop the kitchen tile and the house will be clean enough for a party-- which isn't going to happen, but coming home will be much less stressful!
