With the help of Rob from WDWLive.com the Countdown Wallpaper Maker now comes with 50 fantastic photos!
Not only that but custom images can now be used, so you can use ANY image/photo you have and make it into a custom countdown wallpaper for your desktop!

Also included is 5 different fonts, 5 colours for text and custom sizes for text!

This version should now work with EVER resolution automatically, all you have to select whether your display is widescreen or not!

Unfortunately, I don't own a mac, or have access to one, so i'm really not sure and I can't find anything on it.

Do you know if you can set .html as wallpapers? If you can do that I can defiantly sort you out a countdown wallpaper, otherwise I'm not so sure.

You can try it, but I'm sure the instructions wouldn't make sense on a mac, so you would be a bit on your own.

I have been looking for something like this. Thanks so much for doing this. I absolutely love it!!! I do have one request. My screen resolution is set at 1440 x 900 pixels. Can you add that size as an option? Any of the other options repeats portions of the photo to the right or at the bottom of my screen. Or, can we have the option of centering it?

I am 95% finished on the next update which **should** work with any resolution. Theres just some final tweaking to be done, but it should be up tonight!!

Love the idea but having problems

Downloaded all the files but when I double click it says
Application failed to start b/c CC3260MT.DLL was not found...

This mean anything to you ? I haven't a clue about this stuff but would love to have this ticker.............
What else should I do?

Hi,
Thank you for trying the software.
Im guessing you didn't extract the files before running them.
Try right clicking on the file you downloaded and selecting extract all.
Once the files are extracted, it should work.

I updated my post because I realised it should work lol,
But, the new version will be along soon, so you could wait for that.



Just to warn people now, the new version is about 48mb! Im looking at doing a 'lite' version, but that may not be until tomorrow or later.

Hi! I just stumbled across this board yesterday & before I knew it hours had passed & I was still on it! I found your post about the Countdown Wallpaper & I just wanted to let you know that it is fantastic. My husband & I are goin going back to WDW this fall for our second time & can't wait. It's fun watching the time tick away!

One tip though since you said you were working on updates...it would be great if there were a time zone option. My days came up right, but the hours & minutes were off. After playing with it for a little while, I found where I could adjust the source code of the website & get it to show the right time, but that might be a little tough for some to figure out! Anyway, thanks again for such a great program!

Thanks for the suggestion, different times is definitely something I want to add. I've had several requests for it now so it will definitely be in the next up date, though I can't guarantee when that will be, but probably later in the week, around Thursday.

OK. I've downloaded the update, and it still won't fit my laptop screen. My resolution is set at 1440 x 900 pixels. When I try to make the wallpaper, it won't fit the screen. Am I doing something wrong? I tried to set it for 800 x 600 thinking it would center on my screen, but instead, it tiles. There doesn't appear to be a way to center it. Any ideas?
