Countdown 27 days when do you ?

We are leaving in 27 days for the WORLD what I need to know is when do you start packing ? I have three children ages nine, seven and five plus hubby and myself to pack for.

Any suggestions would be wonderful

I bought a huge MICKEY today he is about 3 foot tall I am going to hide and put him in the drivers seat the evening we leave out for the kids to find.........just something to get the trip started off on the right foot cause we all know that traveling with children can be somewhat ...........................HECTIC

I can completely understand your excitement! We've only been 2 times and are also leaving in 27 days!

We're coming from the UK so maybe our outlook might be a bit different (what with packing cases for flying etc) but we have already started putting a few things aside. Not actually packing but putting spare toiletries, sun creams etc into the case ready.

Packing will start about a week and a half from departure so we can get it all clean and ironed etc. The aim is always to be fully packed at least 2 days before we travel. Other important point is that there's only DD, DW and I so it's probably a bit easier for us! You may well want to start to think about it a bit sooner.

Whatever, I hope you have a great trip - it truly is a magical place!

We have 21 days left! I have a laundry basket that I've been putting things in for about six months...lol. But now I've started to put clothes in it....
I figure on labor day, I can drag out the suitcases and I want to have everything ironed and packed the Wednesday before we leave (we leave on Friday).

Ellie Loves Minnie that is to funny my daughter that is five her name is Ellie but she loves Cinderella then Minnie she loves them all though

We are leaving out on the 20th of September will be checking into Disney onsite on the 22nd of September

We're leaving in 35 days! I can't even stand myself! I'd start packing now but then the kids wouldn't have any clothes to wear to school!

We'll be leaving on a Friday and I'll hopefully start packing on the weekend prior.

I have to confess I think I'm more excited than they are!

Yeah, I struggled a bit with choosing a user name as she really loves the Doodlebops most of all but I know that's not a Disney production (even though they do show it) so didn't want to get barred

I leave in 20 days and I have already started buying little things (disposable sippy cups, spoons, etc) and setting them aside. I used to be a "night before" packer, but no way would I do that with a 4 mo. old and a 2 year old!

We are down to 13 days and I am so excited I can't stand it!

I haven't started packing our clothes yet. I actually don't own that many pairs of shorts etc. for summer so I'm still wearing them on the weekends. My DD has plenty of clothes but I'm waiting. . .

I HAVE started packing "things" though. I started putting all the stuff we're taking on the bed in our guest room, like phone charger, ponchos, mini fans, sunscreen, etc. The bed is nearly covered and there aren't even any clothes yet .

We leave in 29 days
I havent started packing yet.I am waiting till the kids go back to school in about 10 days.
I have however started getting on top of the ironing ( not easy when you work 45+ hours a week on shifts!!).The washing basket is totally empty and I want to keep on top of everything as I am working quite a bit of overtime over the next few weeks
In the morning I am going to go through my "disney drawer" and see what I still need to buy.
I really want to be organized so I dont freak out on the last day like I usually do when we go on holiday
