Count down for March

Its such a BONUS trip for us, only 17 more days until Disneyland but only 17 more days until I see my husband again! (He will be stationed in CA until Jauary 2013). A double celebration for the kiddos and I!!!!!

Same here. Waiting to see what everyone has to report once March 7 arrives. I really don't care either way but I do want to know what to expect. Hope you have a great trip! We're going on the Lights, Camera, Magic tour while we're there and I'm so excited!

In the 'ABC News' thread someone who had been at the park March 8 and 9 said no enforcement and CMs only said that you had to return 'after the listed time'. Whoo hoo!

Count us in the March group. We leave in 2 weeks for SoCal and will be at Disneyland March 26th. I can't wait - I haven't been since I was 5 and DH hasn't been since he was 8. It will be our kids first time :cheer2:

We are leaving on Monday!!! :woohoo: Staying at Park Vue again....canNOT wait! :rotfl:

Here now!!!! Going to bed early tonight and hitting the parks in the morning!!

Parks were PACKED yesterday!! But by being there at rope drop we got a ton of stuff done with no waits and then got out of the parks in the afternoon when it got crazy busy!

ANyone else going next week, concerned about the forecast??

Seems like a rather large storm and not an iffy kind of forecast. Still hoping that it ends up being mild.

I'm not afraid of a little rain during our trip but I can't stand soaking wet and cold clothes ( which has happened to us before at DL).

We just booked our trip yesterday without first looking at the weather. What have I done???:scared1:

We'll be there Friday, Saturday Sunday and it is forecasted to be cold and rainy all three days. Whee!

Still, if I have to be in the cold and rain, I'd rather be at Disney than at home!

I've had my trip booked since September. I'm a little nervous of the weather, but we'll make do. I might need to pack more denims though... I wanted to bring mostly capris.

Maybe the weather forecast will thin out the crowds for you because it is CRAZY busy!!

So jealous of everyone who is at DL already. We are coming on 31 March until 10 April, all the way from OZ. My second trip to Disney (first one in 1996 - pre California Grand) and my daughters first. It is her 8th birthday the day after we arrive and she is super excited - have booked Goofy's Kitchen for dinner on the 04/01 and we are staying at Hampton Inn for our time in anaheim, then off to vegas, GC, Yosemite and San Fran........... hope the next 18 days fly by ;)

Me :hippie: DD (7) :yay:

Leaving on Monday for Cali and headed to DLR & DCA tuesday, wednesday, thursday! So Excited Can't Wait!!!:dance3:

We leave Friday and are there till Tuesday. Our daughter turns 3 on Saturday. I am so sad about this weather. We will do our best to make do but we hve never done it in the rain before...just worried about it with 3 kids. 8,4 and 2) ..... This is a make up trip from 2 yeasr ago where we all were horribly sick with a stomach bug and spent our entire vacation in our room. I just get so bummed thinking about this...Yes it is Disney but how much fun can it be with lots of rain and 3 kids. :/

That's my hope! I have never been to DL, but I can only travel during Christmas, Spring Break, and summer, so any time I've been to WDW (all summer and March Break) it's been busy. Busy doesn't bother me, but getting to do a lot of rides and see shows with no waits is a dream!

We did a ton of things by getting up early and using Fast Passes! We haven't waited for anything, but it is more crowded than I have ever seen Disney World! We usually go to WDW in the off season, but I have been to WDW in March and I didn't think it was as crazy as this!

I can't believe all the people we see pouring into the park at 10-11 when it's been open since 8!! The longest stand by lines we got into were 15-20 minutes and there were only 2 of those! We hit all the big rides early and then used the Fast Passes for everything else!

Rode Star Tours 3 times, Space Mountain 3 times, Indy twice, Soarin twice, ToT once, had awesome seats for Aladdin and got in line for the 12:40 show at about 12:15!! Did all of Fantasyland Monday mornings with zero waits! Heard a lot of people complain about wait times, but thanks to the Dis/Ride max and waking up early we didn't have any waits!!

Stayed at the parks today until around noon and then headed to Laguna Beach. Apparently 2 1/2 days is all that's needed for us at Disneyland. We fly out tomorrow night, and going to go see Hollywood tomorrow.

Had a great time and can't wait to come back!! My oldest DD (20) has decided that she wants to live out here!

Sounds awesome! We have ridemax, so I'm sure that will help. I can't wait!!! 3 more sleeps!

I saw so many people with Ridemax printouts!! (Me included!!) For Monday morning I just took a picture of it and had it on my phone so I wouldn't be dragging out the paper. We waited maybe 2 minutes for Peter Pan since we were at the front of the pack, but by 8:05 I think the line was probably 15-20 minutes already!! :scared1: We didn't ride Dumbo or the carousel but everything else in Fantasyland was a walk on for us in the first hour. I would have skipped Peter Pan if I hadn't of been there first.

I have a few pics of the difference of the crowds in the mornings and the afternoons but I can't find them now...will post later.

YAY! We'll be doing the plan a little differently, focusing on one section of a park at a time, but we have 8 days!
