Could you share your rate??

I am trying to plan a Christmas trip for 2009 and I am wondering if anyone would be willing to tell me the rate they were able to get this year. My family is Fl res and passholder so either of those discounts could apply. We are not sure which resort to stay at possibilities are Wilderness Lodge, Fort Wilderness cabins, Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans French Quarter and last resort being a value. The dates we will be there next year are 12/11-12/21. I am looking for the room only rate.

I think more info would help. How many in your family? Are there children? If so, what are the ages? Of the ones you have listed, we have not stayed at any of them. The only one we have considered staying at is the POFQ...the others do not appeal to us.

This year, I got a room only AP rate at WL woods view (not bunks or anything) for $224. That's for 12/20, it's our only night there and I think that was the last day for the AP rate, at least at the time I booked it.

from 12/12-12/17 we had a room only (FL Resident/Season Passholders) price at POFQ of $142 per night including all the taxes and such for a fam of 3 adults.....

Thanks, I am just trying to get a jumping off point, of course you know Disney will tell you that those discounts aren't guaranteed yatta yatta yatta, but most of the time they are at least in the same ballpark each year. I am not sure which resort we would like best. Dh and I both like WL but then again I like FW ds likes the pirate room at CBR and dd likes PoFq mainly because of the serpent slide I think but I guess I need to explain that I don't think we'll be swimming in Dec!! What to do What to do?!?

From what I have seen, the rates are a bit more for the weekends? 12/20 is a Saturday night, maybe weekday would be a little less? I phoned WDW and got a quote WL for next year room only with the basic dining plan 12/11 thru 12/21 and the total was $5,216.92 for a bunk bed woods view. My eyes nearly bugged out of my head!! They also quoted CBR pirate room for me it was $3,906.20 not as much bit it still seems high

We are staying at Pop from Dec 14-20 with the Disney Visa rate...with dining included its $129 per night. If we allowed full price for dining the room would have been $41 per night. That also included 1 day passes which we don't need but will save for later.

January 23-Feb 1, AP rate standard room at 144.00 a night. That's a good rate for us since we were there in Aug/Sept and paid 275.00 a noght.

Wow - that is a GREAT rate!

We're staying AKL Dec 17th for 5 nights (check out the 22nd). We are paying $1500 total, for 2 adults, one child one "junior", with one day tickets and free dining.

I LOVE the club level at AKL, but it's not looking available for our dates.

Did you get the fall discount?

Oh, to the OP, I'd book something for now, maybe AAA, then just check back to see about any discounts. Personally, I like the Wildernes Lodge the best from your choices, but also I agree, it depends on how many people are in your party.

I used 40% off that i got in jan. We have 2 adults 2 kids 1 baby 1 day tickets and meal plan for 1900.00 and one of the kids is adult price.we are upgrading to aps when we get there.

We have two adults and two kids, we are probably looking at doing the bunk bed room at WL.

Yes, for this year. It's the Disney Visa offer.

I got it, and it is saving me some money. Not as lucky as livie1205, as I would have loved club level (love the lounge to just relax at). But for the price, it's good!
