could I please ask for prayer for my DS. The 8 more have been killed today by a suicide bomber where he is at. We have not had word from him in over a week (we knew it would be like this, but its still hard). thank-you so much.

Prayers for your family and your ds. I cant imagine how hard it is having a family member over there.

Absolutely, and thank you for starting this prayer circle ^i^.
All the brave soldiers and Iraqis are in my prayers as the elections precede. We have had a prayer circle since our son deployed to Iraq which brings much comfort and encouragement thru these troubled days. Without my faith, family and friends, it would be unbearable.

Powellrj, your son is always in my prayers. I feel your pain. It is very difficult when we don't hear from our boys. Our son only gets to contact us every couple weeks, where some others hear something daily. I think it depends on where they are located and their job. All we can do is continue to think positive and keep the faith. He will contact you soon as he can.

powellrj and 4nana-my prayers are with your boys as well. I know how hard it is not to hear for awhile (that is how it was with DH during Desert Storm). Even though I talked with DH today, I am still tense as can be right now. I know some "things" have happened in his area which have me on edge. This Prayer chain is a great idea. Prayer is the only thing we can do now. Prayers for the election and the Iraqis too.

I will pray for those who want my prayers. I don't think it's necessary to shame anyone who expresses their opinion; just let them be. Maybe we need to pray for understanding and peace as well. I am praying for peace with my whole being like I've never prayed for peace before. I'm sorry T-some people need prayer as much as you don't right now. Everyone-please try to be still and focus on what is positive.

I got an email from DH- he made it safely to Kuwait. Will be on the move to Iraq later next month.

Look, I don't subject you to my religion. I don't make posts about it and I don't make threads about it. Please have the consideration of doing the same.

This is a community board, and there are all types here. I don't post about marital problems or infections in someone's nether regions (not that I have either of those ) but many times those very posts are here. People are here to discuss all topics of importance (to them.) Not every topic will be interesting to you. Skip the ones you find objectionable. It will make you much happier.

I think a prayer chain like this is a wonderful. God bless all our valiant soldiers who are fighting for our nation.
