Could we get a sub forum for games?

There are a lot of game threads but there are also a lot of exchange threads animal threads, ranting threads etc.

It would be kind of hard to have a different board for each category.

I personally like the mix of different types of threads. If I'm not interested in reading about a certain topic or participating in a games thread, I just pass over it.

It's no big deal for me to click on page 2 and see what is going on further down the CB board.

True, but the animal, ranting, etc threads are typically short threads and new ones are posted often. It seems that putting games in another area would help both the gamers and the non-gamers, since it would be easier to find what a person wants in each.

I agree. The CB is all about differing interests with a common ingredient - people who like Disney. If the political posts (fights) stay, I think games should too! Also, I don't want to go to yet another board. I have a hard enough time reading 5 or 6 now already.

I have been asking for a games board for a few years now. Back when Webmaster Pete asked in his own thread, "What new board would you like to see on the DISboards?" I begged and cried and asked for a games board. I was obviously ignored, but was genuinely surprised that I didn't get fellow DISers to agree with me on the thread. I thought, "hey I'm alone here." So I was excited to see this thread you started!

I also think it would speed up the loading of the Community board, which is the most saturated place on the DISboards.

games are on the first page because, I know I play them when I am bored. And then I go through them all, so they all get bumped up. And I am sure it is the same with others.

Exchanges.....I don't think they need a board, they are finite in duration. Once they are over, the die away.
