Could we get a sub forum for games?

I would suggest also, that that board be where the mega-threads are placed. That is, those 1,000+ page threads such as the Ya-Ya's, Angels around the World, Who feels like a thread killer, Bo Bice's fan club, etc.

Nothing against these threads or anybody posting on them, but I have no interest in getting involved in them and would prefer they stop cluttering up the Community Board.

Threads you mention here a part of the community. These are places where you can join in conversations as if you were a member of a coffee clatch!

We help make up the "Community Board"!

As an avid game player on the CB, I also think it would be a good idea to have a separate game board. Not only would it de-clutter the CB, it would be easier to find the game a person wants to play. (Sometimes the really fun ones get buried). :)

Awesome idea. As a former member of the WPASADI game, I often worried that we were annoying folks with our threads.

I like the game board idea.....but not the "coffee-klatch" groups....those are the community and should be a part of it.
Skip them if you don't want to read....or better yet, pop in and say hello sometimes.

::yes:: ::yes::

I agree. I like playing the games sometimes, but sometimes I just want to see what's going on:)

A separate games board is a great idea, but I don't see how

1 yaya thread
1 angels thread
and three other 'mega post' threads clutter up the boards :confused3 Look at it this way, the people posting on those threads are only on the one, it doesn't make things disappear onto page three quick.

We don't bite on the yaya thread, and I doubt the angels or any other mega thread would, either. The beauty of them is you can jump in and we'll all welcome you! Heck, that's how I became a yaya two years ago, one of them came into my store and invited me onto the thread when she found out I was a fellow DISer!

I agree with Patti.

I'm all for it. The game threads are rather annoying.
