Could they be brothers..or do all Irish look alike?

Here is a picture of my dad and Ted Kennedy. Every time I see Ted kennedy, I am reminded of my father. I finally decided to do side by side comparison.

What do you think?

I think it is the Irish heritage. We Irish all look alike. LOL

ted kennedy has a distinctive wide jaw area so maybe its the hair that reminds you of ted kennedy when you see your dad?

I think your dad does have a very Irish face. Not one that is shared in my mainly-Irish family, but another sort of Irish face.

The Kennedys tend to be pretty distinctive face-wise...so distinctive it's almost kinda scary, with those prominent jaws!

Plus, trust me - even ten years ago, Kennedy didn't look as good in person as your dad does in the photo.

If your dad had more of a "square" jaw, I think the resemblance would be stronger..

I think your dad looks a lot like Ted Kennedy...and my dad and my grand-dad My dad and his father were very tall, broad-shouldered men with big square heads and strong jaw. My grandfather was 1/2 Irish(at least, his mother was a Dunstan from the Old Country.) He had that same florid complexion, too. So maybe we're all related. Ya think we could get in on some of that Kennedy money?

We don't all look alike. LOL! Unfortunately - cause honestly my DH looks nothing like Pierce Brosnan - DH is a nice guy an' all but just saying. (I know I'm a meanie!)

Oh my word, that picture gave me a chill - your Dad looks just like my (half Irish, half Italian) Grandpa.

He is very handsome!

It might be the Irish! My dad is kind of similar looking as well. He always would say someone has a big Irish head on them. Usually the reddish hue that a lot of Irish have.
