I think they changed their menu back after they had changed it last year, but I never knew what their original menu was. I know last year when they changed it I remember reading how people weren't happy with it. So, is it a good place to go again, etc....My Mom's a vegetarian, so would they be able to accomodate her as well. Thanks in advance.

we were the in June and yes they had a vegetarian plate. check out allearsnet.com and you can find very recent menus on there.

I believe from the dining reviews on allearsnet that they originally served family style platters then they went gourmet. Guests could choose an entree from a fixed menu. Now it looks like they returned to the family platter.

Where did you see that it's returned to family platter? Is it the old food or the new food? This was our fav character meal until they changed it. Service was not good, nor did we care for the food as much, plus we learned that they slowed down the revolution of the restaurant considerably, so it's like you are seating in the same spot pretty much.

We were very disappointed in the new changes and have not gone back since.

Good luck with your decision, Tiger

The newest menu at Garden Grill is served family platter style. For lunch in December we started with rolls (I understand that at dinner you get salad at this time) and then got the platter. The platter had strips of beef with a slight mushroom sauce, battered catfish, turkey slices with cranberry on them, grilled veggies, and a potato casserole (like scalloped with cheese on top). For dessert we got a sampler platter with three slices of pie (one was pecan, one was lemon or lime, and one was like chocolate cheesecake I think) and a brownie with ice cream and whipped cream on it.

The characters were fun and came around a lot and the Rassberry Margarita was great even at noon - LOL

Yes it was one menu then changed to a new menu, failed and changed back to the almost old menu. It is served family style again and is very yummy. So glad they changed it back. It was one of our better meals we had this past October. Character interaction was great. Mickey showed us where the hidden Mickey was and chip kept stealing our rolls to give to the table next to us.
