Could someone help me on a room charge question?

We're planning on doing the Food & Wine Festival one night. From what I understand, it's a lot easier if you take a bunch of single bills to graze around the world on. If I have a room charge set up at AKL, can I go to the front desk and ask for say $30 in ones and have them take it from my account? Or should I just see if they'll bust a $50 travlers check for me?

Hi jennymouse! I do not know the answer to your specific question, but we found it just as quick and easy to use our room key to charge as to use cash. We did both. We attended the F&W Festival on Saturday. We had a blast, BTW! Have fun!

Thanks, dandave. I think I'll just take a $50 traveler's check have the first vendor give me a bunch of ones & fives. I'll use the room charge if/when I need to. I thought all the little charges would be a hassel. Am I down to planning minute details or what?!
