Could or Couldn't Care Less?

"I could care less" or "I couldn't care less"?

It's COULDN'T care less, people! The whole point of that phrase is to tell the person that you absolutely, positively DO NOT care. Therefore, you could NOT care less.

Gramatically speaking, "I could care less" implies that you do in fact care, and there are things you could care less about.

Either way, I don't care. To each his own, and I know what a persome means when he says "I could care less"

Have to admit I have been guilty of that one. My own personal gripe is people who feel badly. I always want to ask them if, when things change, they will feel happily?

IT has to be "I couldn't care less" as said before the point you are trying to make with the statement is that it is the very last thing you care about in the world. For example.....I couln't care less about if it is going to rain today. It doesn't matter to me in the least little bit.

My personal pet peeve: "It is cold as hell outside!" statement made when it -10 degrees....ummm hello wouldn't that mean it was REALLY hot out???
