Could I get specific prayers for my mom?

In addition to the general prayers?

She's suffering *GREATLY* from the guilt. She really thinks that she was part of what drove my dad to this point. We won't know know for sure if she was or wasn't, but regardless, she *does* need to have prayers that specifically she can let go of the guilt and find peace and Peace.

I will surely be saying specific prayers for her. She is going to have to let go of the guilt to be able to make it through herself. I know that she is going to be dealing with a lot and I truly do believe in prayers. They will be said during the day today as well. Please take care.

I just read your other thread, and I'm so relieved to hear you have some wonderful support, and are reaching out to people who can help you. I hope your mom can do the same! It could really make a difference in what she's going through, to have someone to talk to about her feelings!

Tammi, guilt after a suicide is such a huge additional burden. When my FIL died, my (then) husband suffered so deeply he shut everyone out. He felt responsible because he'd turned away from his dad who had become more and more abusive. Mike never got help and carried that burden around for so long it changed who he was as a person. Our marriage ended years later because the walls never came down.

I'm saying prayers for peace in her heart and a release from guilt for your mom. Let her know you don't blame her - she probably had no way of knowing how ill your dad was but she'll remember every harsh word she ever said to him. No person controls another's destiny. He was ill and made a choice. I'm sure he didn't intend to harm you or your mom.
