Could a Halloween trip be on the card??

I think it just might be!

DH, DD & I were originally going to Tenerife for October Half Term, but have decided to postpone that until May 2014. So, that now leaves me with a Half Term off of work and nothing to do - so it would be rude not to fill some of that time with DLP wouldn't it?

I've never been over Halloween before and I know that it's going to be a lot busier than we're used to - but we've always wanted to go during a 'season'.

I think we will probably stay at the Santa Fe as I really want to keep costs down - although it will be hard walking past the DLH every day knowing that was our home in March!

I think we're going to do Wed-Sat and are getting a price of £730 for just DD and I, then another £300 for Eurostar. Do you think this is a good deal? It doesn't seem unreasonable to me and does include the Half Board vouchers - just wondering (given that it is Halloween) whether there's normally any better deals nearer the time?

I've not got long to decide as the deal ends tomorrow... not used to such last minute decisions!

I can't help with the price as I really don't know we r going on our first trip in October and I say just go for it! If you think it's reasonable and I would agree then just book it!!!

When we booked we got the 2 extra nights free is that deal still on?

The current deal is 25% off and free half board plan.

I'm always a believer in the "if it seems a reasonable price, book it!" Philosophy so think ill ring and do just that!

Arrghhh, can't book today. As Monarch Customer Service don't open on Sunday and I really want to make sure our Tenerife trip is 100% confirmed as being transferred before we book the DLP trip in it's place!

Going to have to play the waiting game now and hope that a good deal comes up! I may see if I can get a refundable deal on one of the off-site hotels, just in case another good deal never surfaces!
